Cibuti’nin Jeo-Stratejik Konumunun Cibuti’deki Yabancı Yatırımlar Üzerinde Etkisi

Abstract

ÖZ Son yıllarda gelişmekte olan bölgelerden biri olanAfrika, ekonomik gelişme ve işsizliğin azaltılmasına yönelik kaynaksağlamak için yabancı yatırımlara çekmeye yönelik politikalar geliştirmeye yönelmektedir. Cibuti’nin de jeo-stratejik konumu itibariyle, yabancı yatırımcılar için bir hayli önemli pozisyonda olduğu görülmektedir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, Cibuti'nin jeo-stratejik konumunu değerlendirerek, Cibuti ekonomisi üzerindeki yabancı yatırımların etkisini ortaya koymaktır. Çalışmanın ilk bölümünde Cibuti Cumhuriyeti'nin tarihi ve konumuüzerinde durulmuştur. Çalışmanın ikinci bölümünde, Cibuti ekonomisi ve dış ticaret verilerinden bahsedilmiştir. Son olarak çalışmanın üçüncü bölümünde ise, Cibuti'de bulunan farklı yatırımcı ülkeler, yatırım yapılan sektörler ele alınmış ve yabancı yatırımı çekmek için ne tür ekonomik politikalar geliştirildiği değerlendirilmiştir.

ABSTRACT Africa, one of the developing regions in recent years, tends to develop policies to attract foreign investments in order to provide resources for economic development and reduction of unemployment. It is seen that Djibouti is also in a very important position for foreign investors due to its geo-strategic location. The aim of this study is to evaluate the geostrategic position of Djibouti and reveal the effect of foreign investments on the economy of Djibouti. The first part of the study focuses on the history and location of the Republic of Djibouti. In the second part of the study, Djibouti economy, foreign trade data and legislation are mentioned. Finally, in the third part of the study, different investor countries in Djibouti and the sectors where investment is made are discussed and the economic policies developed to attract foreign investment are evaluated.
