Sağlık Hizmetleri ve Hemşirelik Bakımına İlişkin Güven

Abstract

ÖZET

Bu araştırma sağlık hizmeti alan bireylerin sağlık hizmetleri sistemine ve hemşirelik bakımına ilişkin güvenini belirlemek amacıyla tanımlayıcı olarak yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemini Karabük ilinde ikamet eden, en az bir kere sağlık ve hemşirelik hizmeti almış, 18 yaş üstü 410 kişi oluşturmuştur. Veriler, “Bilgi Formu”, “Hemşirelik Hizmetine İlişkin Güven Soru Formu” ve “Sağlık Bakım Sistemine Çok Boyutlu Güven Ölçeği” ile toplanmıştır. İstatistiksel analizlerde sayı, yüzde, ortalama ve standart sapma değerleri, “Shapiro-Wilk Francia” testi, “Mann-Whitney U” testi, “Kruskal-Wallis H” testi ve Post-Hoc “Dunn’s testi” uygulanmıştır. Çalışmada, hastaların sağlık profesyonellerine duydukları güven puan ortalaması 33,33±7,21, sağlık hizmetinin maliyetini karşılayan kişi ve kurumlara duydukları güven puan ortalaması 12,31±2,6, sağlık hizmeti veren kurum / kuruluşlara duydukları güven puan ortalaması 9,38±2,34 olarak, “Bugüne kadar hizmet aldığınız hemşirelere duyduğunuz güveni değerlendirmeniz istenirse kaç puan verirsiniz?” sorusuna ise 10 üzerinden ortalama 6,75 puan verildiği saptanmıştır. Ayrıca erkek ve gelir düzeyi yüksek katılımcıların sağlık ve hemşirelik hizmetine güven düzeylerinin yüksek olduğu belirlenmiştir (p<0,05). Sonuç olarak, hastaların sağlık hizmetlerine duydukları güvenin alt orta düzeyde, hemşirelik hizmetlerine orta düzeyde olduğu bulunmuştur.

ABSTRACT

The aim of this descriptive study was to determine the trust of individuals who received healthcare services regarding the healthcare system and nursing care. The sample of the study included 410 individuals who resided in Karabuk, Turkey, received healthcare and nursing services at least once, and were older than 18 years of age. Data were collected using an “Information Form”, “the Trust Question Form Regarding Nursing Service”, and “the Multidimensional Trust in Healthcare Systems Scale”. Number, percentage, mean and standard deviation values, “Shapiro-Wilk Francia” test, “Mann-Whitney U test”, “Kruskal Wallis H test” and Post-Hoc “Dunn’s test” were used for statistical analyses. The patients’ mean score on trust in healthcare professionals was 33.33±7.21 and their mean score on trust in individuals and institutions paying for healthcare services was 12.31±2.6. Additionally, the patients’ mean score on trust in institutions/organizations providing healthcare services was 9.38±2.34. They gave a score of 6.75 out of 10 on average regarding the question “If you are asked to evaluate your trust in the nurses you have received services, what would you score them?" Furthermore, male participants and participants with a high income level had higher level of trust in healthcare and nursing services (p<0.05). In conclusion, it was found that the trust level of the patients to the healthcare services was at the medium-low level and their trust in nursing services was at the medium level.
