Cide İlçesinin Turizm Coğrafyası

Abstract

ÖZ Turizm, insanların gezip görme, çeşitli deneyimler yaşamak amacıyla sürekli ikamet ettiği alanlardan farklı yerleri ziyaret etmesi sonucunda insan-mekân etkileşimi konu alan unsurların tümünü içermektedir. Doğal ortamda meydana gelen söz konusu etkileşim, turizm olgusunun önem kazanmasını sağlamakta ve insanların destinasyon tercihlerini de etkilemektedir. Bir yandan ülke ekonomilerine döviz girdisi oluşturması, diğer yandan uluslararası tanınırlığı artıran turizm, turistik destinasyonlarda da birçok kişiye istihdam kaynağı olmaktadır. İnsanların gelir düzeyi ve yaşam standartlarındaki artışlar, turizme katılımı her geçen gün artırmaktadır. Dolasıyla turizm sektörler içerisinde önemini korumakta ve ekonomik gelir içerisinde payını yükseltmeye devam etmektedir. Bu çalışmanın amacı turizm coğrafyası kapsamında Cide ilçesinin turizm potansiyelini ortaya koymaktır. Bu kapsamda birinci bölümde turizmi etkileyen fiziki özellikler, ikinci bölümde turizme etki eden beşerî ve ekonomik coğrafi özelliklere değinilmiştir. Son bölümünde ise turizm çekicilikleri ve etkileri coğrafya bilimi kapsamında ilişkilendirilmeye çalışılmıştır. Çalışmada klimatik veriler, Meteoroloji Genel Müdürlüğü’nden, topografik veriler Harita Genel Müdürlüğü’nden, demografik veriler Türkiye İstatistik Kurumu’ndan, turizm verileri Dünya Turizm Örgütü’nden Cide konaklama tesis ve sayıları ise Kastamonu İl Kültür Turizm Bakanlığı’ndan temin edilmiştir. Çalışmanın kaynağını oluşturan veriler, sahada gerçekleştirilen arazi gözlemleri ile desteklenmiştir. Elde edilen veriler Microsoft Word ve Microsoft Excel programları yardımıyla tablo ve grafik haline getirilmiş, sahada çekilen fotoğraflar ile görsel açıdan zenginleştirilmiştir. Araştırma alanına ait kartografik veriler ArcGIS 10.4 programı ile hazırlanmıştır. Araştırmanın yöntemini nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden doküman analizi ve durum çalışması oluşturmaktadır. Ayrıca söz konusu analizden elde edilen bulgular görüşme tekniği ile desteklenmiştir. Analizde gözlem formu kullanılmıştır. Toplanan veriler üzerine temalar ve kodlar üretilerek Cide’nin turizm coğrafyası özellikleri ortaya konmaya çalışılmıştır. Söz konusu özellikler sürdürülebilir turizm kapsamında değerlendirilmeye gayret edilmiştir. Sonuç olarak araştırma sahasının turizm değerleri doğal, beşerî ve kültürel doku etrafında şekillendiği görülmüştür. Söz konusu unsurlar doğal ve beşerî nedenlere bağlı olarak kültürel turizme kazandırılmadığı tespit edilmiştir. Cide’de turizm coğrafyası özelliklerini belirlemek ve yörenin kalkınması için turizmle ilgili kurum ve kuruluşların daha fazla sorumluluk alması gerekmektedir. Bunlara ek olarak turizm paydaşlarından birisi olan yerel halkla birlikte hareket edilmelidir. ABSTRACT Tourism includes all the elements related to human-space interaction as a result of people visiting different places from their permanent residence in order to visit and see and experience various experiences. The interaction occurring in the natural environment ensures that the phenomenon of tourism becomes important and also affects people's choice of destinations. On the one hand, the creation of foreign currency inputs to the country's economies, on the other hand, tourism, which increases international recognition, is also a source of employment for many people in tourist destinations. Increases in people's income levels and living standards increase participation in tourism every day. With its circulation, tourism remains important in the sectors and continues to increase its share in economic income. The aim of this study is to demonstrate the tourism characteristics and potential of Cide district within the scope of Tourism geography. In this context, physical characteristics affecting tourism are discussed in the first part, human and economic geographical characteristics affecting tourism are discussed in the second part. In the last part, tourism infrastructure and attractiveness were tried to be associated within the scope of geography science. In the study, climatic data were obtained from the General Directorate of Meteorology, topographic data from the General Directorate of maps, demographic data from the Turkish Statistical Institute, tourism data from the World Tourism Organization, CIDE accommodation facilities and numbers from the Kastamonu provincial Ministry of Culture and Tourism. The data that formed the source of the study were supported by field observations. The data obtained is made into tables and graphs with the help of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel programs, and is visually enriched with field photos. Cartographic data belonging to the research area has been prepared with ArcGIS 10.4 program. The method of the research consists of document analysis from qualitative research techniques. In addition, the results obtained from the document analysis were supported by the interview technique. Observation form was used for Document Analysis. Themes and codes were produced on the collected data and an attempt was made to reveal Cide's tourism presence. As a result, the tourism values of the research site were shaped around the natural, human and cultural texture. Canyon, Cave, Beach, National Park, Castle, Mosque and folkloric elements constitute the tourism values of the study area. It was determined that the elements in question were not brought to tourism due to natural and human reasons. For the implementation of sustainable tourism elements in Cide and the development of the region, political actors, tourism public institutions and organizations must provide the necessary regulations and act together with the local people, who are one of the tourism stakeholders.
