Bu araştırmada Arap Baharı etkisiyle Suriye’de yaşanılan iç karışıklıklar ve savaşlar sonrası ülkelerini terk etmek zorunda kalan Suriyeliler’in Türkiye’deki girişimcilik deneyimlerinin incelenmesi ve Suriyeli girişimcilerden alışveriş yapmayı tercih eden yerli müşterilerin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmada nitel veri toplama yöntemi olan yarı yapılandırılmış mülakat yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Türkiye’ye göç etmeye başlayan Suriyeli girişimcilerin deneyimleri incelenirken girişimcilik, göç ve göçmen girişimciliği kavramları ele alınmıştır. Göçmen girişimciliği yaklaşımları ve göçmen girişimciliği teorileri araştırma bulgularının analiz edilmesinde yardımcı olmuştur. Bu yaklaşımlar ve teoriler sayesinde araştırma bulguları analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmaya konu olan Suriyeli girişimciler, Bursa ilinde ikamet eden 15 kişiden oluşmaktadır. Üretim yapan girişimciler, gıda girişimcileri ve gıda dışı girişimciler olarak üç farklı grupta incelemeler yapılarak farklı sektörlerdeki ilişki durumlarının analiz edilmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Suriyeli girişimcilerin yerli müşteri kitlelerine ilişkin bulgulara ulaşmak için her Suriye uyruklu işletmeye gelen Türk kökenli toplam 45 kişi ile görüşmeler sağlanmıştır. Ulaşılan bulgular göçmen girişimciliği yaklaşımlarından olan etkileşim modeli dikkate alınarak analiz edilmiştir. Suriyelilerin girişimci olma kararlarında ekonomik, kültürel, sosyal ve siyasi unsurlar göz önüne alınarak analizler yapılmıştır. Ekonomik unsurların yaşam deneyimlerindeki rolü Suriyeli göçmenleri girişimci olmaya iten ana faktördür. Aile faktörü, çevre faktörü, fırsatlar, deneyimler vs. gibi birçok faktör bulunmaktadır. Suriyeliler’in girişimci olma kararlarındaki faktörler incelenmiş en fazla ekonomik sebepler üzerinde durulmuştur. Suriyeli nüfusun fazla olması etnik bir grubun ve etnik grup üyelerinden oluşan bir pazarın oluşmasına neden olmuştur. Suriyeli girişimcilerin bu etnik pazarda hem Suriyelilere hem de yerli müşterilere hizmet sunduğu bulgusuna ulaşılmıştır.
ABSTRACT
In this research, it has been aimed to research the experiences of the entrepreneurship of Syrians in Turkey who have had to leave the country (Syria) after the internal disturbances and the civil war and the local customers who prefer to trade with Syrian entrepreneurs. In this research, semi-structured interview method which is a qualitative data collection method has been used. The concepts such as entrepreneurship, immigration and immigrant entrepreneurship has been discussed while being examined the experiences of Syrian entrepreneurs who have started to migrate to Turkey. Immigrant entrepreneurship approaches and immigrant entrepreneurship theories have contributed to the analysis of the research findings. Research findings have been analyzed through these approaches and theories. Syrian entrepreneurs who are subject to the study consist of 15 people residing in Bursa. It is aimed to analyze the relationship in different sectors by examining in three different groups as the entrepreneurs making production, food entrepreneurs and non-food entrepreneurs. Interviews have been conducted with a total of 45 people of Turkish- origined people who have come to Syrian business points in order to reach the findings regarding the ideas of Syrian entrepreneurs which are about the local customers. The findings have been analyzed by considering the interaction model which is one of the immigrant entrepreneurship approaches. The analyzes have been made by being taken into account the economical, cultural, social and political factors in the decision of Syrians to become entrepreneurs. The role of economical factors in life experiences is the main factor pushing Syrian migrants to become entrepreneurs. There are many factors such as family factor, environment factor, opportunities, experiences etc. The factors in Syrians' decision to become entrepreneurs have been examined and the economical reasons have been emphasized the most. The excess Syrian population has led to the formation of an ethnic group and a market consisting of members of this ethnic group. It has been found that Syrian entrepreneurs serve both Syrians and domestic customers in this ethnic market.
