“BEBEK DOSTU VE ANNE DOSTU HASTANELERLE” İLGİLİ GÖRÜŞLERİN İNCELENMESİ

Abstract

ÖZET

Bu araştırmada bebek dostu ve anne dostu hastane uygulamalarına ilişkin anne, baba ve anne-baba adaylarının bilgi ve görüşlerinin incelenmesi hedeflenmektedir. Araştırmanın örneklemini Kastamonu ilinde bebek dostu hastanelerden hizmet alan 75 anne ve 64 baba ile Karabük ilinde anne dostu hastaneden hizmet alan 37 anne, 18-35 yaş aralığında 99 anne adayı, 22 baba adayı oluşturmaktadır. Anket Formları Hastanede Sunulan Hizmetlere Dair Anne Görüşleri Formundan yararlanılarak ve alan uzmanlarının görüşleri doğrultusunda hazırlanmıştır. Araştırmada SPSS 26.0 programı kullanılarak analizler yapılmıştır. Tanımlayıcı istatistik (yüzde frekans) ile Phi Korelasyon ve Cramer’s V analiz yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Anne dostu hastanede sezaryen oranı %40,5 bebek dostu hastanede sezaryen oranı %58,7 olup uygulanan programın olumlu yönde etki ettiği görülmektedir. Anne dostu hastaneyi tercih etmenin en önemli nedeni kamu hastanesi olması olarak bulunmuştur. Anne Dostu Hastanenin ne ifade ettiğine dair görüşler çoğunlukla güven alt temasında toplanmış olup tercih sebebi olarak kamu hastanesi olduğu belirtilmiştir. Anne-bebek ten teması oranı % 78,4 ve baba-bebek ten teması sağlama oranının %54,7 olduğu görülmüştür. Sağlık profesyonelleri tarafından bilgilendirme ve desteklenme oranı yüksek bulunmuştur. Sosyal destek düzeyinin bebek dostu hastanelerde %66,7 ve anne dostu hastanede %57,1 oranında olduğu bulunmuştur. Anne-baba adaylarının doğum süreci ve gelişime etkisi ile ilgili bilgi sahibi olup bebek dostu ve anne dostu hastane programları hakkında çok fazla bilgi sahibi olmadığı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

ABSTRACT

In this study, it is aimed to examine the knowledge and opinions of mothers, fathers and expectant parents about baby-friendly and mother-friendly hospital practices. The sample of the study consists of 75 mothers and 64 fathers who receive service from baby-friendly hospitals in Kastamonu, 37 mothers who receive service from mother-friendly hospitals in Karabuk, 99 mother candidates and 22 father candidates between the ages of 18-35. Questionnaire Forms were prepared by using the Mother's Opinions Form on the Services Provided in the Hospital and in line with the opinions of field experts. In the research, analyzes were made using the SPSS 26.0 program. Descriptive statistics (percentage frequency) and Phi Correlation and Cramer's V analysis method were used. The cesarean rate in the mother-friendly hospital is 40,5%, and the cesarean rate in the baby-friendly hospital is 58.7%, and it is seen that the applied program has a positive effect. The most important reason for choosing a mother-friendly hospital was found to be a public hospital. Opinion about what the Mother-Friendly Hospital means were mostly collected under the sub-theme of trust, and it was stated that it was a public hospital as the reason for preference. The rate of mother-baby skin contact was 78.4% and the rate of father-baby skin contact was 54.7%. The rate of information and support by health professionals was found to be high. The rate of social support was found to be 66.7% in baby-friendly hospitals and 57.1% in mother-friendly hospitals. It has been concluded that expectant parents have knowledge about the birth process and its effects on development, but they do not have much knowledge about baby-friendly and mother-friendly hospital programs.
