Yeni Dal Grubu ve Sanat Anlayışı

Abstract

ÖZ ‘Yeni Dal Grubu ve Sanat Anlayışı’ başlıklı çalışmada Cumhuriyet Dönemi Türk Resim sanatındaki gelişmeler perspektifinde, Ülkemizin özellikle 1950-1980 yılları arasındaki sosyal ve siyasal koşullarını hazırlayan etmenlerin sanata etkileri ile alakalı araştırmalar yapılarak bu sürecin Yeni Dal Grubu'nun kurulmasına etkisi ve toplumsal gelişmelerin sanatçıların eserlerine yansımalarının ortaya konması amaçlanmıştır. Türkiye Cumhuriyeti'nin kuruluşundan itibaren toplumun sosyal, siyasal ve kültürel alanlarında sürekli bir değişim görülür. Bu dönemde halkın sorunlarına inen ve bu sorunları eserlerine yansıtan sanatçı duyarlılığı git gide artmaya başlamış ve böylece süreç içinde ortaya çıkan gelişmeler sanatçıların yapıtlarına yansımıştır. Bununla birlikte farklı isimler altında birçok sanatçı grupları oluşmaya başlamıştır. Sanatçılar halkın sorunlarını, toplumda ortaya çıkan değişim ve dönüşümleri bir amaç güderek kişisel yorumlarıyla çeşitli şekillerde aktarmışlardır. Toplum içerisinde yaşanan her olay bir şekilde sanatçıları etkilemiş ve eserlerinin yönünü belirlemiştir. II. Dünya Savaşı, Kurtuluş Savaşı ve daha sonra da karşıt siyasi görüşler arasındaki çatışma sonucunda ortaya çıkan toplumsal sorunlar sanatçıların eserlerine konu olmuştur. 1959 yılı itibariyle kurulan Yeni Dal Grubu da toplumumuzun bulunduğu durumu göz ardı etmeyen ve bunu eserlerine yansıtan bir grup sanatçıdan oluşmaktaydı. Fakat 1961 yılı Nisan ayında açtıkları bir sergide eserlerinde siyasi unsurların bulunduğuna dair görüşler sonucu yaşadıkları sorunlar nedeniyle grup dağılmış ve bu nedenle sanatçılar sonraki yaşamlarını daha çok bireysel sanat faaliyetleri olarak sürdürmüşlerdir.

ABSTRACT In the work called as ‘Yeni Dal Grubu ve Sanat Anlayışı’, from the viewpoint of the developments in Republican Era’s Turkish Painting Art, by being done research about the effects of the factors on the art, related to the social and politic conditions of our country between the years of 1950-1980, it has been aimed to search for the effects of this process on the establishment of New Branch Group and to be brought to light the reflections of the social developments on the works of the artists. As of the establishment of The Republic of Turkey, there has been a perpetual change in the social, political and cultural spheres of the society. In this period, the sensitivity of the artists, expressing the troubles of the public and reflecting these problems to their works, started to increased gradually and so that the developments that emerged in the process were projected to the works of the artists. However, many groups of artists started to take shape with different names. By serving a purpose, the artists conveyed the problems of the people and the changes and the conversions in the society in various ways with a personal statement. Each event in the society left an impression on the artists somehow and affected the direction of their works. The social problems that sprang as a result of the conflict between II. World War, the War of Independence and later the opposing political opinions were the subject of the works of the artists. Founded in 1959, New Branch Group consisted of a group of artists who did not ignore the situation of our society and reflected this in their works. However, in an exhibition they opened in April 1961, the group disbanded due to the problems they were faced with as a result of the views related to the existence of political elements in their works and therefore, they maintained their later life as more individual art activities. Within the scope of this study, by being done literature review, it will be collected data about the identification of group members’ life and understanding of their art and works.
