FENG-SHUI FELSEFESİNİN; SAFRANBOLU GELENEKSEL KONUTLARI ÖRNEĞİNDE, MİMARİYE YANSIMALARININ İRDELENMESİ

Abstract

ÖZET

Yüzbinlerce yıldır insanlar farkında olarak ya da olmayarak doğal ve yapılı çevre ile etkileşim halinde yaşamışlardır. Doğadan sonra, yeryüzünün çehresini en çok etkileyen olgu insanlar tarafından üretilen “yapılı çevre” olmuştur. Bunun sanata dönüşümü olan mimarlık, insanların bilinç, görgü, kültür düzeylerini ve davranış biçimlerini hem belirler hem yansıtır. Feng Shui felsefesine göre bu yapılı çevre, içerisinde yaşayanları destekler ve besler. Yapılı çevrenin üzerimizdeki etkisinin çok daha farkında olduğumuz günümüzde, Feng Shui felsefesi önemli bir yere sahiptir. Yapılan bu çalışmada ilk olarak Feng Shui felsefesi tarihi ve kavramsal olarak araştırılmıştır. Araştırılan bu felsefenin mimari ile olan yakın ilişkisi üzerinde durulmuştur.

Tarih boyunca Safranbolu’nun coğrafi konumu, yapılan çalışmalarda ve yerleşim bölgesi olmasında önem taşımaktadır. Geçmişi paoletik çağlara kadar giden Safranbolu, Türk kentsel tarihinin iyi korunmuş örneklerinden biridir. Safranbolu; ahşap, taş ve kerpiç malzeme ile inşa edilen karkas evleri, camileri, çeşmeleri, han ve hamamları, yemeniciler arastası ve geleneksel şehir dokusuyla, insan odaklı tasarım yaklaşımlarıyla Feng Shui felsefesinin geleneksel Türk konutlarında incelenmesi için önemli bir örnektir. Yapılan bu çalışmada insan odaklı tasarım anlayışına sahip olan Türk evi ile Feng Shui felsefesinin uyum sağladığı tasarım anlayışları belirlenmiştir. Feng Shui felsefesinin bilim ve sanat yönü dışında, Türk evi çalışıldığı takdirde kültürel etkileşim ve bu etkileşimlerin mimariye yansımaları da incelenmelidir. Bu noktada yapılan bu çalışma Feng-Shui felsefesindeki kavramları sembolleri ve mimari uygulamaları anlayarak Türk evinin mimari oluşumlarını sağlayan ortak anlayışları görebilmek adına önem arz etmektedir.

ABSTRACT

For hundreds of thousands of years, people have experienced interactions with the natural and built environment, with or without awareness. After nature, the phenomenon that most affected the face of the earth was the "built environment" produced by humans. Architecture, which is the transformation of this into art, both determines and reflects the level of consciousness, manners, culture and behavior of people. In Feng Shui philosophy, it supports and nurtures those living in buildings. Today, when we are more aware of the effect of the built environment on us, the Feng Shui philosophy on the relationship between the universe and our lives in man-made buildings has an important place. In this study, firstly, Feng Shui philosophy was investigated in terms of history and concept. The close relationship of this researched philosophy with architecture is emphasized.

Throughout history, the geographical location of Safranbolu has an importance in the studies and being a residential area. Safranbolu, whose history goes back to paoletic ages, is one of the well-preserved examples of Turkish urban history. Safranbolu; Carcass houses built with wood, stone and adobe materials, mosques, fountains, inns and baths are an important example for the examination of Feng Shui philosophy in traditional Turkish houses with its human-oriented design approach, with its traditional urban texture and the traditional urban texture. In this study, the Turkish house, which has a human-oriented design approach, and the design concepts that Feng Shui philosophy harmonize with have been determined. Apart from the science and art aspects of Feng Shui philosophy, if the Turkish house is studied, the reflections of cultural interactions and interactions on architecture should also be examined. At this point, this study is important in order to understand the concepts, symbols and architectural practices in Feng-Shui philosophy and to see the common understandings that provide the architectural formations in the Turkish house.
