Finansal Derinleşme ve Ekonomik Büyüme İlişkisi: Türkiye Örneği

Abstract

ÖZET Bu çalışmanın amacı Türkiye’deki finansal derinleşme ve ekonomik büyüme ilişkisini yıllar itibariyle incelemektir. Finansal derinleşmenin gerçekleşme durumu hakkında bilgi veren bu çalışmada, ekonomik büyüme ve parasal derinliğin ölçümü hedeflenmiş ve 2002-2016 yılları arasındaki üç değişken(M1/GSYH, M2/GSYH, Ekonomik Büyüme Hızı) inceleme konusu yapılmıştır. Çalışma üç bölümden oluşmaktadır. Çalışmanın ilk bölümünde; finansal derinleşme, finansal sistem ve finansal araçların tanımına değinilmiş ve finansal serbestleşme ve ekonomik büyüme ilişkisi analiz edilmiştir. İkinci bölümde; finansal derinleşme göstergeleri incelenmiştir. Üçüncü bölümünde ise, çalışmada kullanılan değişkenler tablo halinde sunulmuş ve söz konusu değişkenler açıklanmıştır. Çalışmanın analizinde regresyon istatistikleri ve korelasyon analizi kullanılarak elde edilen sonuçlar yorumlanmıştır.

ABSTRACT The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between financial deepening and economic growth in Turkey over the years. In this study, which gives information about the realization of financial deepening, the measurement of economic growth and monetary depth is aimed and three veriables (M1/GDP, M2/GDP, Economic Growth Rate)between the years 2002and 2016 areexamined. Thestudyconsists of threeparts. Inthefirstpart of thestudy; financial deepening, the definition of financial system and financial instruments are mentioned and the relationship between financial liberalization and economic growth is analyzed. In the second part; financial deepening indicators were examined. In the third part, the veriables used in the in the study are presented in the form of a table and the said veriable sare explained. In the analysis of the study, the results obtained by using regression statistic and correlation analysis were interpreted.
