608 Numaralı Edirne Şer‘İyye Sicili Transkripsiyon Ve Değerlendirmesi

Abstract

ÖZ Osmanlı Devleti gibi büyük bir imparatorluğa başkentlik yapmış olan Edirne ilinin, şehir tarihine katkıda bulunmak için hazırlanan bu çalışmanın temelini 608 numaralı Edirne Şer‘iye Sicili oluşturmaktadır. Söz konusu defter 196 sayfa oluşmaktadır. H. 1332-1340/ M. 1913/14-1921-22 yılları arasını kapsayan bu defterde Edirne iline ait idari, sosyal, kültürel, dini ve iktisadi bilgilere rastlanmaktadır. Bu çalışmadaki defterde yer alan bilgiler konularına göre tasnif edilmiştir. Tez çalışması; Giriş ve dört bölümden oluşmaktadır. Giriş bölümünde araştırmanın önemi, kullanılan kaynaklar, Edirne’nin coğrafi özellikleri ve tarihçesi hakkında kısa bilgiler verilmiştir. Birinci bölümde Şer’i Mahkemeler, bu mahkemelerdeki görevliler ve Şer’iyye Sicilleri hakkında genel bilgilere yer verilmiştir. Çalışmanın ikinci bölümünde 608 numaralı Şer’iye Sicilinin tanıtımı yapıldıktan sonra defterde yer alan belgeler ve davalar türlerine göre sınıflandırılmıştır. Üçüncü bölümde, 608 numaralı Edirne Şer‘iye Sicili Defterine göre Edirne’nin sosyal, kültürel ve ekonomik hayatı ile ilgili bilgiler yer almıştır. Defterin dördüncü bölümünde ise 608 numaralı Edirne Şer‘iye Sicili transkrip edilmiştir.

ABSTRACT Prepared to contribute the history of the city of Edirne Province, which has been the capital of a great empire such as the Ottoman Empire, this study’s primary source is constituted of 608 Edirne Ser’iye Register (Şer’iyye Sicili). The book is constituted of 196 pages in total. In this book, covers AH. 1332-1340/ AD. 1913/14-1921-22 years, has been found information about Edirne region’s administrative, social, cultural, religious and financial. The information in this thesis study has been classified according to its subjects. This thesis study constitutes of 4 parts following contents and introduction parts. In the introduction section, brief information about the importance of the research, the sources used, the geographical features of Edirne and its history has been given. In the first chapter, general information about the Ser’iye Courts, the officials in these courts and the Ser’iye Register (Şer’iyye Sicili) has been given. In the second part of the study, after giving the introduction of 608 Ser’iye Register, the documents and cases contained in the book were classified according to their types. In the third chapter, there is information about Edirne region’s social, cultural and economic life according to Edirne 608 Ser’iye Register. In the fourth chapter of the book, Edirne 608 Ser’iye Register has been transcribed.
