Abstract

ÖZET

Bu tez çalışmasında, bir Sobolev tip denklem için başlangıç sınır değer probleminin çözümünün asimptotik davranışı incelenmiştir. Ön değerlendirmeler yaparak ve bazı özel eşitsizlikler kullanılarak lineer olmayan terimle ilgili çok basit ve genel bir varsayım altında, t zamanı sonsuza yaklaştığında problemin çözümünün üstel olarak sıfıra yakınsadığı kanıtlanmıştır.

ABSTRACT

In this thesis, the asymptotic behavior of the solution of the initial boundary value problem for an equation of the Sobolev type is investigated. By making a priori estimates and using some special inequalities, it is proved that the solution of the problem decay to zero exponentially as time t approaches infinity, under a very simple and general assumption about the non-linear term.
