HEMŞİRELERDE PSİKOSOSYAL BAKIM YETERLİLİĞİ İLE İŞ DOYUMU ARASINDAKİ İLİŞKİNİN İNCELENMESİ

Abstract

ÖZET

Bu çalışma hemşirelerin psikososyal bakım konusundaki yeterliliklerinin iş doyumları ile ilişkisinin incelenmesi amacıyla gerçekleştirildi. Tanımlayıcı ve kesitsel tipte yürütülen bu araştırma, gerekli izinler alındıktan sonra Ocak-Mart 2021 tarihleri arasında Yalova Devlet Hastanesinde çalışan 153 hemşire ile gerçekleştirildi. Veriler, katılımcı bilgi formu, Psikososyal Bakım Yeterliliği Öz Değerlendirme Ölçeği (PBYÖDÖ) ve Hemşire İş Doyum Ölçeği (HİDÖ) ile toplandı. Verilerin değerlendirilmesinde tanımlayıcı istatistikler, Mann-Whitney U testi, Kruskal Wallis testi, İndependent Sample Test, Oneway Anova, Pearson Korelasyon Analizi ve post-hoc testi olan Tamhane’s T2 ile Tukey testi kullanıldı. Çalışmaya katılanların %74,5’inin kadın, %54,9’unun bekar olduğu, yaş ortalaması 29,93±6,636 olduğu belirlendi. PBYÖDÖ toplam puan ortalaması 68,22±12,7 HİDÖ toplam puan ortalaması 3,19±0,66 olarak bulundu. HİDÖ ile PBYÖDÖ arasındaki ilişki incelendiğinde; aralarında pozitif bir ilişki (r=0,287, p=0,000) olduğu belirlendi. Eğitim durumuna göre PBYÖDÖ’nin müdahale alt boyutunda gruplar arası anlamlı fark bulundu (p= 0,031). Hemşirelerin medeni durumuna göre HİDÖ’nin keyifli çalışma ortamı alt boyutunda anlamlı fark saptandı (p= 0,027). Covid pozitif hasta ile çalışanlarda üstlerden uygun destek alt boyutunda puan ortalaması düşük bulundu (p= 0,025). Ayrıca eğitim durumunda işle ilgili olumlu duydular alt boyutunda lise mezunu hemşirelerin puan ortalaması (4,07±0,64) üniversitesi mezunu hemşirelerin puan ortalamasından (3,42±0,83) anlamlı derecede yüksek bulundu. (p<0,05). Sonuç olarak psikososyal bakım ve iş doyumunun birbirinden etkilendiği ve hemşirelerin psikososyal bakım becerilerinin desteklenmesi gerektiği düşünülmektedir.

ABSTRACT

This study was carried out to examine the relationship between nurses' proficiency in psychosocial care and their job satisfaction. This descriptive and cross-sectional study was conducted with 153 nurses working in Yalova State Hospital between January and March 2021, after the necessary permissions were obtained. Data were collected with participant information form, Psychosocial Care Efficiency Self-Assessment Scale (PCESAS), and Nurse Job Satisfaction Scale (NJSS). Descriptive statistics, Mann-Whitney U test, Kruskal Wallis test, Independent Sample Test, Oneway Anova, Pearson Correlation Analysis and the post-hoc test Tamhane's T2 and Tukey test were used to evaluate the data. It was determined that 74.5% of the participants were female, 54.9% were single, and the mean age was 29.93±6,636. The mean PCESAS total score was 68.22±12.7, the NJSS total score mean was 3.19±0.66. When the relations between NJSS and PCESAS are examined; It was determined that there was a positive relationship (r=0.287, p=0.000) between them. A significant difference was found between the groups in the intervention sub-dimension of PCESAS according to education level (p= 0.031). According to the marital status of the nurses, a significant difference was found in the pleasant working environment sub-dimension of the NJSS (p= 0.027). The average score in the sub-dimension of appropriate support from superiors was found to be high in those working with Covid-positive patients (p= 0.025). In addition, the mean score of high school graduate nurses (4.07±0.64) was found to be significantly higher than the mean score of university graduate nurses (3.42±0.83) in the sub-dimension of having a positive opinion about work in educational status. (p<0.05). As a result, it is thought that psychosocial care and job satisfaction are affected by each other and should be supported.
