Bu çalışmanın amacı Filistin sigorta şirketlerindeki dönüşümcü liderlik ve rasyonel karar vermenin çalışanlar tarafından algı düzeylerini belirlemek ve demografik değişkenlerle söz konusu değişkenlerin ilişkisi belirlemektir. Araştırma verilerini toplamak için nicel araştırma yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Veri toplamada rasyonel karar verme ile ilgili 27, dönüşümcü liderlik ile ilgili olarak ise 34 maddeden oluşan bir ölçekten faydalanılmıştır. Karar verme algısını ölçmek için Sundu ve Yaşar'ın (2020); dönüştürücü liderlik algısını ölçmek için Dönmez ve Tokerin (2017) geliştirmiş olduğu ölçekler kullanılmıştır. Veriler Filistin sigorta şirketlerinin 201 çalışanından elde edilmiştir. Araştırma sonucuna göre: Filistinli sigorta şirketleri çalışanlarının dönüşümcü liderlik ve alt boyutları algı derecesi yüksektir. Rasyonel karar verme ve alt boyutları algısı orta düzeydedir. Cinsiyet, eğitim ve tecrübe grupları açısından rasyonel karar verme algısında anlamlı bir ilişki tespit edilememiştir. Dönüşümcü liderlik algısında eğitim grubu açısından anlamlı bir ilişki tespit edilmiş; cinsiyet ve tecrübe grupları açısından anlamlı bir ilişki bulunmamıştır.
ABSTRACT
The aim of this study is to determine the perception levels of the employees of transformational leadership and rational decision making in Palestinian insurance companies and to determine the relationship between demographic variables and these variables. Quantitative research method was used to collect research data. A scale consisting of 27 items on rational decision making and 34 items on transformational leadership was used in data collection. To measure the perception of decision making, Sundu and Yaşar (2020); Scales developed by Dönmez and Toker (2017) were used to measure the perception of transformational leadership. The data were obtained from 201 employees of Palestinian insurance companies. According to the results of the research: The level of perception of transformational leadership and sub-dimensions of Palestinian insurance company employees is high. The perception of rational decision making and its sub-dimensions is moderate. No significant relationship was found in the perception of rational decision making in terms of gender, education and experience groups. A significant relationship was found in the perception of transformational leadership in terms of the education group; No significant relationship was found in terms of gender and experience groups.
