Abstract

ÖZET Bu araştırma, Cahiliye Döneminden Abbasiler Döneminin sonuna kadarki süreçte Arap edebiyatını ele alan birçok araştırma yapan Filistin, Ürdün ve Arap dünyasındaki önde gelen modern eleştirmenlerin eleştirel çabalarını ele almaktadır. Araştırma, Hüseyin ‘Atvân’ın eleştirel çabalarına odaklanmakta ve onun çalışmalarında takip ettiği modern eleştirel yöntemleri izah etmektedir. Hüseyin ‘Atvân’ın bir dizi farklı eleştiri yöntemini takip etmesi araştırmanın ulaştığı en önemli sonuçlardandır. Zira her ne kadar çalışmalarında ana akımı tarihsel yöntem oluştursa da; hiçbir çalışmasında tek bir eleştiri yöntemini takip etmemiştir. Araştırmada tespit edilene göre ‘Atvân birçok konuyu ele alırken estetik eleştiri yöntemini de kullanmıştır. Bunun yanında kendinden önceki eleştirel görüşleri eleştirmiş ve tartışmaya açmıştır. Ele aldığı görüşle hemfikir olsun veya olmasın neticede şahsi görüşünü ortaya koymuştur. Bu araştırmada çeşitli yöntemlere başvurulmuş olup en önemlileri şunlardır: Eleştirmen Hüseyin ‘Atvân’ın bilimsel özgeçmişi ve kültürel bileşenleri ele alınırken tarihsel yöntem takip edilmiştir. ‘Atvân’ın ele aldığı eleştiri konuları da tarihsel yöntemin yanında tanımlayıcı tümevarım yöntemi de takip edilerek incelenmiştir. Zira Hüseyin ‘Atvân’ın gündemine aldığı konularda diğer eleştirmenlerin görüşleri de izlenmiştir. Bu görüşler çözümlenirken ve ‘Atvân’ın üzerinde çalıştığı sanatsal problemlerin üzerinde durulurken de tanımlayıcı analitik yöntem takip edilmiştir.

ABSTRACT This research deals with the critical efforts of leading modern critics in Palestine, Jordan and the Arab world who have done a lot of research on Arabic literature from the Age of Ignorance to the end of the Abbasid Period. The research focuses on the critical efforts of Hussein ‘Atvân and explains the modern critical methods he followed in his work. It is one of the most important results of the research that Hussein ‘Atvân followed a series of different criticism methods. Although the main trend in his works is the historical method; he did not follow a single method of criticism in any of his works. According to what was determined in the research, 'Atvan used the aesthetic criticism method while dealing with many subjects. However, he criticized the previous critical views and opened them up for discussion. Whether or not he agrees with the view he has taken, he has ultimately revealed his personal opinion. Various methods were used in this study. The most important of these are: The historical method was followed while the scientific background and cultural components of the critic Hussein 'Atvân were discussed. The subjects of criticism addressed by 'Atvân' were also examined by following the descriptive induction method as well as the historical method. Because, the views of other critics on the issues that Hussein 'Atvan' put on his agenda were also followed. The descriptive analytical method was followed while analyzing these views and focusing on the artistic problems that Atvân worked on.
