Covid-19 Pandemi sürecinde Karabük İlinde Okuyan Üniversite Öğrencilerinin Part-time Çalışma Deneyimleri

Abstract

ÖZ Covid-19 pandemisinin bulaşma hızının yüksek olduğu bu salgın ile devletler bazı kararlar alarak sosyal hayatı kısıtlamaya yönelik bir duruma doğru yol almak zorunda kalmışlardır. Bu kısıtlamalar doğrultusunda ekonomik anlamdaki hayat da sekteye uğramış bulunmaktadır. Özellikle hareket kısıtlamaları iktisadi faaliyet üzerinden ciddi bir yük oluşturmuştur. Seyahat kısıtlamaları yolcu hareketliliğini sona erdirmiş, eğitimde uzaktan eğitim modülüne geçilmiş, spor ve sanatsal etkinliklere ara verilmiş, hizmet sektöründe işyerleri kapatılmış, konaklama endüstrisi durma noktasına gelmiştir. İşgücü piyasası açısından uzaktan çalışma modülüne geçilmiş, sosyal ve fiziksel mesafe kuralları çerçevesinde piyasanın fiziki çalışma sistemi değişmiş, bazı üretim noktalarında üretime ara verilmiştir. Alınan tedbir ve yasaklar doğrultusunda geçici süreyle kapatılan işyerleri arasında kafe, lokanta ve otellerde çalışan garsonların bu süreci nasıl deneyimledikleri ve ekonomik anlamda yaşadıkları sıkıntıları ortaya koymak bu araştırmanın temelini oluşturmaktadır. Bu anlamda araştırmanın amacı Covid-19 pandemi sürecinde Karabük ilinde okuyan üniversite öğrencilerinin part-time çalışma deneyimlerini ortaya çıkarmaktır. Ekonomik deneyimlere örnek olarak garsonluk yapan ve part-time olarak çalışan üniversite öğrencilerinin pandemi sürecindeki çalışma deneyimleri bu araştırmanın önemini oluşturmaktadır. Bu çalışmada nitel araştırma fenomenolojik araştırma deseni esas alınarak ortaya konmuştur. Araştırılan konu Covid-19 pandemi sürecinde Karabük ilinde okuyan üniversite öğrencilerinin part-time çalışma deneyimlerini baz aldığı için görüşme tekniği seçilmiştir. Görüşme tekniği ile bu deneyimler elde edilerek verileri daha uygun toplamak amaçlanmıştır. Bu durum çalışması Karabük ilinde yürütülecektir. Bu araştırma için toplam 20 kişi ile görüşülmüştür.

ABSTRACT With this epidemic, where the Covid-19 pandemic is at a high rate of contagion, governments have had to make some decisions and move toward a situation to limit social life. In line with these restrictions, life in economic terms is also at a standstill. In particular, motion restrictions have created a serious burden on economic activity. Travel restrictions have ended passenger mobility, the training has been switched to a remote training module, sports and artistic activities have been stopped, the service sector has closed businesses, the hospitality industry has come to a halt. In terms of the labor market, the remote working module has been switched, the physical working system of the market has changed within the framework of social and physical distance rules, and production has been cut off at some production points. It is the basis of this research to establish how waiters working in cafes, restaurants and hotels experience this process and experience economic difficulties among businesses that have been temporarily closed in accordance with the measures and prohibitions taken. The aim of this research is to uncover the part-time study experience of university students who study in Karabük province during the Covid-19 pandemic process. The work experience of university students who are waitressing and working part-time as examples of economic experiences is the importance of this research. In this study, qualitative research is based on the phenomenon research pattern. In the Covid-19 pandemic process, the interview technique was selected because it was based on part-time study experiences of university students studying in Karabük province. This experience is achieved through the interviewing technique, and it is intended to better gather data. This case study will be carried out in Karabük province. A total of 20 people have been interviewed for this research.
