0-12 YAŞ DÖNEM ÇOCUĞU OLAN EBEVEYNLERİN AKILCI İLAÇ KULLANIMI KONUSUNDA BİLGİ VE TUTUMLARININ BELİRLENMESİ

Abstract

ÖZET

Bu çalışma, 0-12 yaş dönem çocuğu olan ebeveynlerin akılcı ilaç kullanımı konusunda bilgi ve tutumlarının belirlenmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır.

Karabük İl Sağlık Müdürlüğü Aile Hekimliği ve Toplum Sağlığı Hizmetleri Birimi’ne bağlı Karabük Merkez Aydınlıkevler Aile Sağlığı Merkezi ve Merkez İlçe Safranbolu Safran Aile Sağlığı Merkezi’nde 0-12 yaş dönem çocuğu olan 325 gönüllü anne ve baba araştırma kapsamına alındı. Veri toplama araçları olarak “Ebeveyn Tanıtıcı Bilgi Formu” ve “Akılcı İlaç Kullanımına Yönelik Ebeveyn Tutum Ölçeği” kullanıldı. Verilerin değerlendirilmesinde istatiksel yöntemler olarak; sayı, yüzde, ortalama, standart sapma, ortanca, minimum, maksimum değerleri, Mann Whitney U testi ve Kruskal Wallis Varyans analizi kullanıldı.

Akılcı ilaç kullanımına yönelik ebeveyn tutum ölçeğinden aldıkları puanlara bakıldığında; annelerin ölçekten toplam 176.45±18.07 puan, babaların ölçekten toplam 173.34±20.46 puan aldıkları belirlendi. Bu puanlara göre anne ve babaların akılcı ilaç kullanımına yönelik tutumlarının ortalama değerin (%97) oldukça üzerinde olduğu görüldü.

Anne ve babalar arasında doğru ve bilinçli kullanım alt boyut puanlarına göre fark saptandı (p<0.05). Anne doğru ve bilinçli kullanım alt boyut puanları, baba doğru ve bilinçli alt boyut puanlarından daha yüksek bulundu. Anne ve babaların akılcı ilaç kullanımına yönelik ebeveyn tutum ölçeği puanları arasında pozitif yönlü korelasyon saptandı (p<0.05, r=0.732).

Çalışmadan elde edilen sonuçlar doğrultusunda anne ve babaların akılcı ilaç kullanımına yönelik tutumlarının ortalamanın üzerinde ve pozitif ilişkili olduğu; babalara göre annelerin doğru ve bilinçli kullanım tutumunun daha yüksek olduğu belirlenmiştir.

ABSTRACT

This study was carried out to determine the knowledge and attitudes of parents with children aged 0-12 on rational drug use.

325 volunteer mothers and fathers with children aged 0-12 in Karabük Merkez Aydınlıkevler Family Health Center and Central District Safranbolu Safran Family Health Center affiliated to the Family Medicine and Community Health Services Unit of the Karabük Provincial Health Directorate were included in the study. “Parent Descriptive Information Form” and “Parental Attitude Scale towards Rational Drug Use” were used as data collection tools. As statistical methods in the evaluation of data; number, percentage, mean, standard deviation, median, minimum, maximum values, Mann Whitney U test and Kruskal Wallis analysis of variance were used.

Considering the scores they got from the parental attitude scale towards rational drug use; it was determined that mothers got a total of 176.45±18.07 points from the scale, and fathers got a total of 173.34±20.46 points from the scale. According to these scores, it was seen that parents attitudes towards rational drug use were well above the average value (97%).

There was a difference between the correct and conscious use sub-dimension scores of the mothers and fathers (p<0.05). The mother's correct and conscious use sub-dimension scores were higher than the father's correct and conscious use sub-dimension scores.

A positive correlation was found between the mothers and fathers parental attitude scale towards rational drug use scores (p<0.05, r=0.732).

In line with the results obtained from the study, it was determined that the attitudes of mothers and fathers towards rational drug use were similar (as the mother scores increased, father scores increased) and were above the average.
