Geçmiş Pandemiler Işığında COVİD-19’un Kelebek Etkisi: Türkiye ve Almanya Devletlerinin Karşılaştırmalı Analizi

Abstract

ÖZET 2019’un Aralık ayında Çin’de başladığı düşünülen COVİD-19 salgını, küresel dünyamızı kısa sürede etkisi altına almıştır. Makro ölçekten mikro ölçeğe kadar kelebek etkisinde bütün dünya düzenini etkilemiştir. Araştırmanın temel problemi; “COVİD-19 ‘un Almanya ve Türkiye’de süreç içerisinde ortaya çıkardığı sosyoekonomik, siyasi ve kültürel etkinin şiddeti ve yönü hangi yönde gelişmektedir?” Bu soruya istinaden araştırma; Almanya’da ve Türkiye’de COVİD-19’un algısı ve etkileri ile sosyolojik, bilim, kültür, sağlık, eğitim, ekonomik düzen ve uluslararası ilişkiler bağlamlarındaki etkilerini ortaya koyması amacıyla ele alınmıştır. Çalışmanın konusu itibariyle, bugüne ve yarına getireceği etkiler bakımından göz ardı edilemeyecek yegane konu olma özelliğini taşımaktadır. Çalışma; yaşanan köklü değişimde genel bir kaynağı teşkil etmesinin yanı sıra, geçmiş pandemilerin ışığında yaşanan krizi ve getirilerini ortaya koyması bakımından değerlidir. Çalışmamda nitel araştırma modelinde ele alınmıştır. Araştırma kapsamında Almanya ve Türkiye ülkeleri örneklem olarak belirlenmiştir. Her iki örneklem dahilinde beş farklı yaş aralığında birer kadın ve birer erkek olmak üzere toplamda yirmi kişiye uygulanmış olan yarı yapılandırılmış mülakatlar ve güncel hayatın nabzını tutan haber başlıkları ile gelişmeler araştırmanın veri toplama tekniklerini oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma süresince; COVİD-19 pandemisinde verilere ulaşma zorluğu, örneklemlerin verilerindeki denklem uyuşmazlığı ve güncel bir konu olması itibariyle literatür eksikliği karşılaşılan güçlüklerdendir. Araştırma sonucunda, çalışmanın temel probleminin olumsuz bir yönde ivme ile gelişme gösterdiği ortaya konulmuştur. Mikrodan makroya bütün hayat pratiklerindeki etkilerin incelenmesi gerekli ve önemlidir. Fakat literatürde makro ölçekte COVİD-19’un değerlendirildiği çalışmaların daha fazla olması gerektiği önerilmektedir.

ABSTRACT The COVID-19 epidemic, which is thought to have started in China in December 2019, has taken our global world under its influence in a short time. It has affected the whole world order in butterfly effect from macro scale to micro scale. The main problem of the research; “In which direction does the severity and direction of the socio-economic, political and cultural impact of COVID-19 in Germany and Turkey develop in the process?” Research based on this question; It has been discussed in order to reveal the perception and effects of COVID-19 in Germany and Turkey and its effects in the context of sociological, science, culture, health, education, economic order and international relations. In terms of the subject of the study, it is the only subject that cannot be ignored in terms of the effects it will bring to the present and the future. Study; In addition to being a general source in the radical change experienced, it is valuable in terms of revealing the crisis and its returns in the light of past pandemics. The study was handled in the qualitative research model. Within the scope of the research, Germany and Turkey were determined as samples. Semi-structured interviews, which were applied to a total of twenty people, one woman and one man, in five different age ranges within both samples, and the news headlines and developments that take the pulse of current life constitute the data collection techniques of the research. During the research; Difficulty in accessing data in the COVID-19 pandemic, the inconsistency of the equations in the data of the samples, and the lack of literature due to being a current issue are among the difficulties encountered. As a result of the research, it was revealed that the main problem of the study was developing with an acceleration in a negative direction. It is necessary and important to examine the effects in all life practices, from micro to macro. However, it is suggested in the literature that there should be more studies evaluating COVID-19 on a macro scale.
