Bir Metafor Olarak Suyun Sanat ve Arkeolojideki İzdüşümleri

Abstract

ÖZ Suyun beşerî hayattaki varlığı tüm canlılığı etkilemiştir. Yaşamın varlığını oluşturan bu kaynak, insanlar tarafından keşfedilince zamanla kültürel bir unsur haline gelmiştir. Edebiyatta mısraları dolduran, peyzajda bahçeleri süsleyen hatta heykele kıvamını veren su olmuştur. Birinci bölümde suyun kültür üzerindeki etkileri ve su kaynağının yapısı hakkında bilgiler verilmiştir. Daha sonra da konu hakkında ilgili araştırmalar sıralanmıştır. İkinci bölümde ise suyun sanat dalları ve arkeoloji ilişkisi hakkında bilgiler aktarılmıştır. İçerik ve araç bakımından suyun müzik alanından mimariye kadar ne tür etkiler bıraktığına değinilmiştir. Ardından arkeoloji bölümünde kıtalardan ayrıntılı bir şekilde suya dair bilgilere yer verilmiş ve su hakkında eser ve buluntular örneklendirilmiştir. Son olarak deniz taşımacılığı ve ticarette suyun etkilerinden bahsedilmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde tezin yöntemine değinilmiş, veri toplama sürecinden analizine kadar bilgiler verilmiştir. Son bölüm olan bulgular ve yorumlar kısmında ise uzman görüşleri aktarılmıştır. Tezin amacına yönelik hazırlanan sorulara cevaplar alınmış ve literatür araştırması ile birtakım bulgulara ulaşılmıştır. Suyun resimden edebiyata kadar izler bıraktığını, eski çağlardan günümüze kadar gelişim süreci hakkında arkeolojik verilerle birlikte bilgilere ulaşılmıştır. Araştırma kapsamında nitel yöntem kullanılmış ve literatür taraması yapılmış ve incelenmiştir. Araştırma da çalışmayı desteklemek adına uzman görüşlerine başvurulmuş ve yarı-yapılandırılmış görüşme yöntemiyle görüşmeler gerçekleştirilmiştir. Literatür ve uzman görüşleri sonrası, çalışmanın amacına yönelik cevaplar alınmış ve bir sonuca varılmıştır. İçerik ve araç bakımından su, hayatın her alanında karşımıza çıktığını dair bilgileri, buluntu ve literatür araştırmasıyla beraber uzman aktarımı dahilinde tespit edilmiştir.

ABSTRACT The existence of water in human life has affected all life. This resource, which constitutes the existence of life, has become a cultural element over time when discovered by people. It has been water that fills the verses in literature, adorns the gardens in the landscape, and even gives the sculpture its consistency. In the first chapter, information is given about the effects of water on culture and the structure of the water source. Then, related studies on the subject are listed. In the second part, information about the relationship between water art branches and archeology is given. In terms of content and tools, it has been mentioned what kind of effects water has left from the field of music to architecture. Then, in the archeology section, detailed information about water from the continents was given and artifacts and finds about water were exemplified. Finally, the effects of water on maritime transport and trade are mentioned. In the third chapter, the method of the thesis is mentioned and information is given from the data collection process to the analysis. In the last section, the findings and comments section, expert opinions are given. The questions prepared for the purpose of the thesis were answered and some findings were reached with the literature research. It has been reached with archaeological data about the development process from ancient times to the present, that water has left traces from painting to literature. Qualitative method was used within the scope of the research and a literature review was made and examined. In order to support the study, expert opinions were consulted and interviews were conducted with semi-structured interview method. After the literature and expert opinions, answers were received for the purpose of the study and a conclusion was reached. In terms of content and means, the information that water is encountered in all areas of life has been determined within the scope of expert transfer together with the finds and literature research.
