SPOR YÖNETİCİLİĞİ VE ANTRENÖRLÜK BÖLÜMÜNDE ÖĞRENİM GÖREN ÖĞRENCİLERİN ÖZ LİDERLİK DAVRANIŞLARININ KARŞILAŞTIRILMASI

Abstract

ÖZET

Bu araştırmanın amacı, spor yöneticiliği ve antrenörlük bölümünde öğrenim gören öğrencilerin öz liderik davranışlarının karşılaştırılmasıdır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda araştırmada nicel yöntem takip edilmiş olup tarama modelinde tasarlanmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklem grubu spor yöneticiliği ve antrenörlük bölümünde öğrenim görmekte olan 227’si erkek 92’si kadın olmak üzere 319 katılımcıdan oluşmaktadır. Veri toplama aracı olarak kişisel bilgi formu ve Houghton ve Neck (2002) tarafından geliştirmiş ve Fidan (2008) tarafından Türkçeye uyarlanmış olduğu Yenilenmiş Öz Liderlik Ölçeği (YÖLÖ) kullanılmış olup veriler Google Forms üzerinden toplanmıştır. Verilerin analizi için öncelikle normallik analizi yapılmış, verilerin normal dağıldığı belirlendiğinden parametrik testlerle devam edilmiştir. Bu doğrultu da fark testleri için ikili gruplarda t-testi yapılmış olup ikiden fazla gruplar için ise ANOVA (tek yönlü varyans analizi) uygulanmıştır. Yapılan analiz sonucunda spor yöneticiliği ve antrenör adaylarının öz liderlik düzeyleri yüksek düzeyde tespit edilmiştir. Demografik değişkenlere göre yapılan inceleme sonucunda ise cinsiyet, sınıf düzeyi, okudukları bölüm, gönüllü katılım durumu, mezun olunan lise türü özelliğine göre spor yöneticisi ve antrenör adayların öz liderlik davranışlarında istatistiksel yönden bir farklılık oluşmazken; yaş grubu özelliği, anne ve baba eğitim durumu özelliği yönüyle katılımcıların öz liderlik davranışlarında istatistiksel yönden anlamlı farklılaşma olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

ABSTRACT

The aim of this research is to compare the self-leadership behaviors of the students studying in the sports management and coaching departments. For this purpose, the quantitative method was followed in the research and it was designed in the scanning model. The sample group of the study consists of 319 participants, 227 men and 92 women, who are studying in the sports management and coaching department. Personal information form and Renewed Self-Leadership Scale (YÖLÖ) developed by Houghton and Neck (2002) and adapted to Turkish by Fidan (2008) were used as data collection tools, and data were collected via Google Forms. For the analysis of the data, first of all, normality analysis was performed, and since it was determined that the data were normally distributed, parametric tests were continued. In this direction, t-test was performed in paired groups for difference tests, and ANOVA (one-way analysis of variance) was applied for more than two groups. As a result of the analysis, the self-leadership levels of the sports management and coach candidates were determined at a high level. As a result of the analysis made according to demographic variables, there is no statistical difference in the self-leadership behaviors of the sports manager and coach candidates according to gender, class level, department they study, voluntary participation status, type of high school graduated; It was concluded that there was a statistically significant difference in the self-leadership behaviors of the participants in terms of age group characteristics and educational status of parents.
