KARABÜK’TE SEÇİLEN BAZI DİŞİ ATLANTİK SAKIZI (PISTACIA ATLANTICA DESF.) GENOTİPLERİNİN MORFOLOJİK, FENOLOJİK VE POMOLOJİK ÖZELLİKLERİ İLE TOHUM ÇİMLENME DURUMLARININ BELİRLENMESİ

Abstract

ÖZET

Bu çalışmada, Karabük ilinde yoğun olarak bulunan Atlantik sakızı (Pistacia atlantica Desf.) ağaçlarından farklı konumda bulunan 15 farklı dişi genotip seçilmiştir. Bu genotiplerin morfolojik özelliklerinden ağaç özellikleri incelenmiş; büyüme biçiminin 2 genotipte dik, 6 genotipte yarı dik ve 7 genotipte ise yayvan olduğu; dallanma sıklığının 3 genotipte seyrek, 5 genotipte orta ve 7 genotipte sık olduğu ve sürgün renginin 3 genotipte açık kahverengi ve diğer genotiplerde ise kahverengi olduğu belirlenmiştir. Seçilen genotiplerin yaprak özellikleri incelenmiş olup, yaprak uzunluğunun 10,01 ile 16,44 cm arasında, yaprak genişliğinin ise 6,66 ile 11,74 cm arasında olduğu belirlenmiştir. Uç yaprakçığın sadece 13 nolu genotipte bulunmadığı, diğer genotiplerin uç yaprakçıklarının bulunduğu belirlenmiştir. Uç yaprakçık uzunluğunun 3,60 ile 6,41 cm arasında, uç yaprakçık genişliğinin ise 1,34 ile 2,24 cm arasında olduğu belirlenmiştir. Uç yaprakçık şeklinin 6 genotipte dar eliptik ve 9 genotipte ise mızrak şeklinde olduğu görülmüştür. Yaprak rengi 5 genotipte koyu yeşil, 10 genotipte ise yeşil olarak belirlenmiştir. Yaprak sapının 2,45 ile 4,12 cm arasında değiştiği ve tüm genotiplerde yaprakların tüylü olmadığı; 1 genotipte reçine kokusunun zayıf, 9 genotipte orta ve 5 genotipte ise kuvvetli olduğu saptanmıştır. Karagöz (çiçek tomurcuğu) ve çiçek salkımı özellikleri incelenmiş; karagöz şeklinin 5 genotipte geniş oval ve diğer genotiplerde dar oval olduğu; çiçek salkım yoğunluğunun 9 genotipte yoğun, 2 genotipte orta ve 4 genotipte ise seyrek olduğu ve tüm genotiplerin çiçek salkım renginin yeşilimsi sarı olduğu belirlenmiştir. Seçilen genotiplerin fenolojik özellikleri incelenmiş; vejetatif gözlerin 8 ile 16 Nisan arasında patladığı; karagözlerin ise 11 ile 16 Nisan arasında patladığı gözlenmiştir. Tam çiçeklenme 26 Nisan ile 2 Mayıs arasında görülürken yaprak dökümünün 13 ile 27 Kasım arasında olduğu gözlenmiştir. Meyvelerde yapılan pomolojik analizlere göre meyve uzunluğunun 5,96-8,27 mm arasında; meyve genişliğinin 4,94-7,49 mm arasında ve meyve kalınlığının ise 3,70-5,75 mm arasında olduğu belirlenmiştir. En yüksek 20 meyve ağırlığı 3,49 g ile 15 nolu genotipte belirlenmiştir. Meyve rengi 2 genotipte yeşilimsi mavi, 2 genotipte koyu yeşil olarak belirlenirken, geriye kalan genotiplerde yeşil olarak saptanmıştır. En yüksek tohum çimlenme oranının %60 ile 5 nolu genotipte olduğu belirlenmiştir.

ABSTRACT

In this study, 15 different female genotypes were selected from the Atlas mastic tree (Pistacia atlantica Desf.), which are densely located in Karabük province. The tree characteristics of these genotypes were examined as morphological features; growth habit was upright in 2 genotypes, semi-erect in 6 genotypes and spreading in 7 genotypes; it was determined that the branching habit was sparse in 3 genotypes, intermediate in 5 genotypes and dense in 7 genotypes, and shoot color was light brown in 3 genotypes and brown in other genotypes. Leaf characteristics of the selected genotypes were examined, and it was determined that the leaf length was between 10,01 and 16,44 cm, and the leaf width was between 6,66 and 11,74 cm. The terminal leaflet was found on all selected genotypes except for the genotype 13. The terminal leaflet length was between 3,60 and 6,41 cm, and its width was between 1,34 and 2,24 cm. The terminal leaflet shape was narrow elliptic in 6 genotypes and lanceolate in 9 genotypes. Leaf color was dark green in 5 genotypes and green in 10 genotypes. The petiole length varies between 2,45 and 4,12 cm and the leaves are glabrous in all genotypes; and leaves of 5 genotypes had a strong resin smell, of 1 genotypes weak resin smell while the other genotypes had an intermediate resin smell. Inflorescence bud and inflorescence characteristics were examined; the inflorescence bud shape was broadly ovate in 5 genotypes and narrowly ovate in the others; the inflorescence abundance was dense in 9 genotypes, intermediate in 2 genotypes and sparse in 4 genotypes, and the color of the inflorescences was greenish yellow in all genotypes.The phenological characteristics of the selected genotypes were examined; vegetative bud break from April 8 to 16; inflorescence bud break was observed between April 11 and 16. Full bloom was observed between 26 April and 2 May, while defoliation was observed between 13 and 27 November. According to the pomological analyzes made on the fruits, the fruit length was between 5,96-8,27 mm; the fruit width between 4,94-7,49 mm and the fruit thickness between 3,70-5,75 mm. The highest 20 fruits weight was determined as 3.49 g in genotype 15. Fruit color was greenish blue in 2 genotypes and dark green in 2 genotypes, and green in the remaining genotypes. The highest seed germination rate was determined as 60% in genotype 5.
