İnsan-Yapay Zekâ İlişkisinin Dönüşümü: Akıllı Haz Makineleri

Abstract

ÖZ Tarih yaşam biçimlerimizi kökünden değiştiren hadiselerle doludur. Avcı toplayıcı zamanlardan tarım devrimine, tarım devriminden sanayileşmeye uzanan yolculuk boyunca insan toplumları, içinde bulundukları tarihsel kırılmaların her birinden sosyolojik olarak farklı şekillerde etkilenmişlerdir. Sanayi devrimi; ekonomiye, siyasete, kültüre nüfuz eden büyük bir dönüşüme neden olmuştur. Halihazırda deneyimlemekte olduğumuz Sanayi 4.0 ise bugünün kayda değer yeniliklerinin başında gelen yapay zeka ve robotik teknolojilerini beraberinde getirmiştir. Böylece insanın makineyle etkileşimi bambaşka bir noktaya evirilmiştir. Bu tezin konusu ise insanlar ile olan etkileşiminde sosyal çıktıları açısından adeta makine olmanın dışına taşan yapay zekâlı seks robotlarıdır. Zira amansızca gelişen bu yeni teknolojilerin sosyolojik sonuçları bir muammadır. Üretici firmalar, bilim insanları ve robotlarla etkileşime geçme adayı olan herkes perspektifleri aynı olmasa da seks robotlarıyla ilgili basit bir ikilemde ihtilafa düşmektedir. Kimileri seks robotlarını şiddetle savunurken, kimileri de aynı şiddetle reddetmektedir. Bu tez çalışması insan toplumlarının kendi icatları olan yapay zekâlı haz makineleriyle aralarında gelişen/gelişecek ilişkilerin sonuçları hakkındaki olumlu ve olumsuz argümanları ortaya koyarak bu argümanları sosyolojik bir bakışla tartışmaktadır. Bu nedenle bu çalışmada seks robotlarının varlığı hakkındaki düşünceleri iki ayrı ucu temsil eden Kathleen Richardson ve David Levy’nin yayınları başta olmak üzere cinsel kimlik, toplumsal cinsiyet, parafili ve sınıf başlıkları ekseninde dâhil edilebilecek kitap, kitap bölümü, makale, gazete haberi, anket verisi, video gibi çeşitli kaynaklar derlenmiştir.

ABSTRACT History is full of events that have fundamentally changed the way we live. Throughout the journey from hunter-gatherer times to the agricultural revolution, and from the agricultural revolution to industrialization, human societies have been affected sociologically in different ways by each of the historical ruptures they have experienced. The industrial revolution caused a major transformation that permeated economics, politics and culture. Industry 4.0, which we are currently experiencing, has brought artificial intelligence and robotics technologies, which are among the most significant innovations of today. Thus, human interaction with machines has evolved to a completely different point. The subject of this thesis is artificially intelligent sex robots, which are almost beyond being machines in terms of their social outputs in their interaction with humans. The sociological consequences of these inexorably developing newtechnologies are a mystery. Manufacturers, scientists, and everyone who is a candidate to interact with robots disagree on a simple dilemma regarding sex robots, even if their perspectives are not the same. Some strongly advocate sex robots, while others reject them just as vehemently. This thesis presents the positive and negative arguments about the consequences of the relationships that have developed/willdevelop between human societies and their own inventions, artificially intelligent pleasure machines, and discusses these arguments from a sociological perspective. For this reason, in this study, various sources such as books, book chapters, articles, newspaper articles, survey data, videos, etc., which can be included in the axis of sexual identity, gender, paraphilia and class, especially the publications of Kathleen Richardson and David Levy, who represent two different extremes in their thoughts on the existence of sex robots, were compiled.
