Nakit Akım Oranları Aracılığıyla Finansal Performansın Değerlendirilmesi: BİST KOBİ Sanayi Endeksi Şirketleri Üzerine Bir Uygulama

Abstract

ÖZ KOBİ’ler ülkelerin ekonomilerinde önemli bir rol üstlenmektedir. KOBİ’lerin yarattıkları katma değer, oluşturdukları istihdam, yenilikçi, rekabetçi ve dinamik yapıları ekonominin büyümesine ve gelişmesine katkı sağlamaktadır. KOBİ'ler de diğer şirketler gibi maliyetlerini düşürmeye ve gelirlerini artırmaya çalışmakta ve rekabetçi bir ortamda faaliyetlerini sürdürmektedirler. Bu bakımdan, KOBİ’lerin performanslarının değerlendirilmesi önemlidir. Bu çalışmada BİST KOBİ Sanayi Endeksi işletmelerinin nakit akım oranları aracılığıyla finansal performans düzeylerinin Gri İlişkisel Analiz yöntemi ile ölçülmesi ve değerlendirilmesi hedeflenmiştir. Çalışma kapsamına alınan 34 işletmenin 2017-2021 dönemini kapsayan 5 yıllık verileri kullanılmıştır. Veriler Kamuyu Aydınlatma Platformu (KAP) aracılığıyla işletmelerin finansal tablo ve dipnotlarından elde edilmiştir. Çalışmada 8 kriter baz alınarak analiz yapılmıştır. Bu kriterler literatürde performans analizinde yaygın kullanılan nakit akım oranları arasından seçilerek belirlenmiştir. Raporlama döneminde şirketlerin nakit akış oranları her sene açısından ayrı ayrı hesap yapılmıştır. Daha sonra, Gri İlişkisel Analiz yöntemi aracılığıyla her bir yıl için performans ölçümü gerçekleştirilmiştir. Analiz sonucu ulaşılan bulgular genel olarak değerlendirildiğinde analiz dönemi boyunca FMIZP işletmesinin istikrarlı bir başarı sürdürerek tüm yıllarda birinci sırada yer aldığı tespit edilmiştir. İncelenen dönem boyunca FMIZP işletmesinin nakit- kısa vadeli borç oranının, nakit akımına dayalı karlılık ve etkinlik oranlarının sektör ortalamalarının üzerinde olduğu görülmüştür.

ABSTRACT SMEs play an important role in the economies of countries. The added value and the employment they create, their innovative, competitive and dynamic structure contribute to the growth and development of the economy. SMEs, like other companies, try to reduce their costs and increase their income, and continue their activities in a competitive environment. In this respect, it is important to evaluate the performance of SMEs. In this study, it is aimed to measure and evaluate the financial performance levels of BIST SME Industry Index businesses through the cash flow ratios with the Gray Relational Analysis method. 5-year data covering the period of 2017-2021 of 34 enterprises included in the study were used. The data were obtained from the financial statements and footnotes of the enterprises through the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP). In the study, analysis was made based on 8 criteria. These criteria were determined by choosing among the cash flow ratios commonly used in performance analysis in the literature. During the reporting period, the cash flow rates of the companies were calculated separately for each year. Then, performance measurement was carried out for each year using the Gray Relational Analysis method. When the findings obtained as a result of the analysis are evaluated in general, it has been determined that the FMIZP enterprise has been in the first place in all years by maintaining a stable success throughout the analysis period. It has been observed that the cash-short-term debt ratio, profitability and efficiency ratios based on cash flow of the FMIZP enterprise are above the industry averages throughout the analyzed period.
