Menbau’z-Zülâli Meânî fî-Tercemeti Mecmau’l-Emsâlî Meydânî’nin Yedinci Bâbı: İnceleme-Metin-Dizin

Abstract

ÖZ Bu çalışma, Ahmed b. Muhammed el-Meydânî’nin Arap atasözleriyle ilgili kaleme aldığı Mecmau’l-Emsâl adlı kitabın birkaç Türkçe tercümesinde biri olan Antepli Hâfız Mehmed Şâkir’in Menbau’z-Zülâli Meânî fî-Tercemeti Mecmau’l-Emsâli Meydânî adlı eserin yedinci bölümünün (bâbının) transkripsiyonlu metni ve ilgili kısımların incelemesinden oluşmaktadır. Üç bölümden oluşan çalışmanın birinci bölümünde mevcut olan kaynakların bilgilerine göre Mütercim Mehmed Şâkir Efendi’nin hayatı ve eserleri hakkında kısaca bilgi verilmiş, sonra çalışmanın konusu olan Menbau’z-Zülâli Meânî fî-Tercemeti Mecmau’l-Emsâli Meydânî adlı eseri tanıtılmıştır. İkinci bölümde mütercim Şâkir Efendi’nin tercüme anlayışı ve yöntemi üzerinde durulmuştur. Buna göre Mütercim Şâkir Efendi, tercüme yaptığı eserin metnine bağlı kalmamıştır, yaptığı ekleme ve açıklamalarla eserin içeriğini genişlettiği görülmektedir. Bundan dolayı tercümesinde özellikle metinde geçen kelimelerin tercümesi için Meydânî’den bağımsız olarak çoğunlukla Mütercim Âsım Efendi’nin Kâmûsu’l-Muhît tercümesine başvurduğu görülmektedir. Bunun dışında değişik kaynaklardan yaptığı ilave açıklamalar ve aktardığı hikâyelerle eserin içeriğini genişletmiştir. Ayrıca eserinde çok fazla Arapça ve Farsça şiire yer verdiği görülmektedir. Türk edebiyatıdaki şerh ve tercüme geleneğini sürdüren bu eserde, söz konusu unsurlar tespit edilip açıklanmıştır. Üçüncü bölümde ise eserin yedinci bölümünün çeviri yazılı metni ortaya konulmuştur.

ABSTRACT This research is the interpretation and analysis of certain sections and the translation of the seventh chapter of the book (Menbau’z-Zülāli Meāni fî-Tercemeti Mecmau’l-Emsāli Meydāni). For poet and translator (Antepli Hāfız Mehmed Şākir) that this book is one of the Turkish translations of the book (Mecma‘u’l_Emsāl), and to a famous author (Ahmed bin Muhammed el-Meydān). Related to famous Arabic proverbs. The research consists of three sections, the first section contains brief information about the literary life and the work of the translator according to the available sources, and then an explanation about the book that is the subject of our research. The second section we talk about the method that he followed “Şâkir Efendi” in translation. The translator did not abide by the main text while translating it, but rather expanded the content of the work (the book or the work) through the additions he made to the texts. Where many benefited from “Kāmusu’l-Muhit” Translating and explaining words. It is also noted that he included a lot of Arabic and Persian poetry in his work. This work, which continues the tradition of commentary and translation in Turkish literature, identifies and explains the elements. Finally, in the third part of this study, the translated text of the seventh part of the work is set out.
