Özbek Destanlarında At Motifi Üzerine Bir İnceleme

Abstract

ÖZ Destanlar bir milletin kaderini duygu ve düşüncelerini, kültür ve yaşayışını yansıtan en önemli eserlerden biridir. Bu tezin amacı Özbek destanlarından bazılarını incelemek ve bu destanlarda geçen at unsurunun fonksiyonlarını ele almaktır. Tez çalışmasında, Rüstem Han, Huşkeldi ve Belagerdan, Alpamış ve Dalli destanları incelenmiştir. Bu beş destanın incelenme sebebi; atın farklı fonksiyonlarının ve farklı özelliklerinin işaret edilmesi yönüyle tercih edilmiştir. Ayrıca bazı destanların Köroğlu destan koluna ait olması, Köroğlu destan dairesi çevresinde oluşan destanlarda at özelliklerini görmemizi sağlayacaktır. Bu destanlar özellikle Özbek sahası destanları üzerinden Özbekistan ve Türk dünyası coğrafyalarında atın rolünü göstermesi açısından önemli olabilir. Türklerin sosyal, ekonomik ve edebi hayatının ayrılmaz parçası olan atlar doğal olarak destanlarda geçen en önemli motiflerden biri haline gelmiştir. Türkler ve atlar birbiriyle ayrılmaz bir bütün olmuş, adeta olayların odak noktası olmuştur. Olağanüstü özellikleri ile kahramanın tamamlayıcısı konumunda olan atlar edebi eserlerin en önemli konularından biri haline gelmiştir. Hatta yerine göre kahramandan öte geçtiği durumlar olmuştur. Atlar, yerine göre alp ile aynı derecede önem kazanmıştır. Dede Korkut’ta geçen “Hüner erin midir, yoksa atın mı?” cümlesi Türk yazılı ve sözlü kültüründe atın önemini anlatan en güzel cümlelerden birisidir. Kahramanın yardımcısı konumunda olan atlar, Türk dünyasında ve Özbeklerde edebi ürünlerin en önemli unsuru haline gelmiştir. Özbek destan geleneği de at motifinin en güzel örneklerini görebileceğimiz eserler barındırmaktadır. Özellikle de Töre Mirzayev’in destanların incisi şeklinde tabir ettiği Alpamış destanı, atın ön planda anlatıldığı en kıymetli eserlerdendir.

ABSTRACT Epics are one of the most important works that reflect a nation's destiny, feelings and thoughts, culture and life. The aim of this thesis is to examine some of the Uzbek epics and to discuss the functions of the horse element in these epics. In the thesis study, the epics of Rüstem Han, Huşkeldi and Belagerdan, Alpamysh and Dalli were examined. The reason for examining these five epics; It was preferred in terms of pointing out the different functions and different characteristics of the horse. We will also take into account that some epics belong to the Köroğlu epic branch, and we will also see the horse characteristics in the epics formed around the Köroğlu epic circle. These epics may be important in terms of showing the role of the horse in the geographies of Uzbekistan and the Turkic world, especially through the epics of the Uzbek field. Horses, which are an integral part of the social, economic and literary life of the Turks, have naturally become one of the most important motifs in epics. Turks and horses became an inseparable whole with each other and became the focal point of events. Horses, which complement the hero with their extraordinary features, have become one of the most important subjects of literary works. There were even cases where he went beyond the hero, depending on the place. Horses have gained the same importance as the alps, depending on their location. “Is the skill your erin or your horse?” mentioned in Dede Korkut is one of the most beautiful sentences describing the importance of the horse in Turkish written and oral culture. Horses, which are the assistants of the hero, have become the most important element of literary works in the Turkish world and in the Uzbeks. The Uzbek epic tradition also contains works where we can see the most beautiful examples of horse motifs. In particular, Alpamysh epic, which Töre Mirzayev called the pearl of epics, is one of the most precious works in which the horse is told in the foreground.
