DOĞAL KAYNAKLARIN SÜRDÜRÜLEBİLİRLİĞİ AÇISINDAN İLKÖĞRETİMDEKİ PAYDAŞLARIN ALGI VE DAVRANIŞLARININ DEĞERLENDİRİLMESİ

Abstract

ÖZET

Doğal kaynaklar ve doğal kaynakların sürdürülebilirliği, ülkemizin ve dünyanın gündeminde olan önemli konulardan bir tanesidir. İnsanların günlük yaşamdaki çevreye yönelik algı, tutum ve davranışları çevre sorunlarını ortaya çıkarmaktadır. Bu sorunlar doğal kaynaklara ve doğal kaynakların gelecek nesillere aktarılmasını tehdit etmektedir.

Araştırma; 7. ve 8. sınıf öğrencilerinin ve ilkokul ile ortaokul öğretmenlerinin doğal kaynaklar ve doğal kaynakların sürdürülebilirliği konusundaki algı, tutum ve davranış biçimlerini araştırmak amacıyla yapılmıştır.

Bu çalışma Karabük il merkezinde, Safranbolu ve Yenice ilçelerinde yapılmıştır. Çalışma 2021-2022 eğitim öğretim yılında Yenice ilçesinin tamamında (8), Karabük merkez (2) ve Safranbolu ilçesinde (2) rastgele seçilen ortaokullarda yapılmıştır. Çalışmaya yedinci ve sekizinci sınıflardan toplam 523 öğrenci, ilkokul ve ortaokul öğretmenlerinden toplam 71 öğretmen katılmıştır.Çalışmada öğrenci ve öğretmenlere algı, tutum ve davranış ölçeği uygulanmıştır.

Elde edilen sonuçlar değerlendirildiğinde öğrencilerin algı, tutum ve davranışları ile anne baba eğitim düzeyleri ve yenilenebilir kaynak bilgi düzeyi arasında istatistiki açıdan anlamlı farklılıklar tespit edilmiştir.Anne baba birliktelik durumu ile öğrencilerin algı tutum ve davranışlarında istatistiki açıdan farklılık tespit edilmemiştir. Öğretmenlerin kıdem yılı ve branşları ile algı tutum ve davranışları arasında istatistiki açıdan farklılıklar olduğu ortaya konmuştur. Okullar arası algı, tutum ve davranışlarda da faklılık tespit edilmiştir.Kırsal kesimdeki öğrencilerin doğal kaynakların sürdürülebilir kullanımı konusunda daha duyarlı oldukları tespit edilmiştir.

ABSTRACT

Natural resources and the sustainability of natural resources are one of the important issues on the agenda of our country and the world. Perceptions, attitudes and behaviors of people towards the environment in daily life reveal environmental problems. These problems threaten natural resources and the transfer of natural resources to future generations.

Research; It was conducted to investigate the perceptions, attitudes and behaviors of 7th and 8th grade students and primary and secondary school teachers about natural resources and the sustainability of natural resources.

This study was carried out in the city center of Karabük, in Safranbolu and Yenice districts. The study was carried out in randomly selected secondary schools in the whole of Yenice (8), Karabük center (2) and Safranbolu (2) in the 2021-2022 academic year. A total of 523 students from the seventh and eighth grades and 71 teachers from primary and secondary schools participated in the study. In the study, perception, attitude and behavior scale was applied to students and teachers.

When the results obtained were evaluated, statistically significant differences were found between the perceptions, attitudes and behaviors of the students, the education levels of their parents and the knowledge of renewable resources. No statistically significant difference was found between the parental union status and the perception, attitude and behavior of the students. It has been revealed that there are statistical differences between the years of seniority and branches of the teachers and their perception, attitudes and behaviors. Differences in perceptions, attitudes and behaviors between schools were also detected.It has been determined that students in rural areas are more sensitive to the sustainable use of natural resources.
