KRONİK HASTALIĞI OLAN BİREYLERDE PSİKOLOJİK KIRILGANLIK VE DEPRESYON DÜZEYLERİNİN BELİRLENMESİ

Abstract

ÖZET

Bu araştırmada kronik hastalığı olan bireylerin psikolojik kırılganlık ve depresyon düzeylerinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmanın tipi tanımlayıcı ve kesitsel nitelikte bir çalışmadır. Katılımcılara Beck Depresyon Envanteri, Psikolojik Kırılganlık Ölçeği uygulanmıştır. Ayrıca, Kişisel Bilgi Formu ile kişilerin bazı demografik bilgileri toplanmıştır. Ölçekler, 126 kadın ve 79 erkek olmak üzere toplam 205 katılımcıya uygulanmıştır. Verilerin analiz sonucu elde edilen bulgulara göre; araştırmamızda kronik hastalığa sahip bireylerin psikolojik kırılganlık puanı ortalaması 22,11 ± 5,4 olarak bulunmuştur. Kronik hastalığa sahip bireylerin yüksek düzeyde psikolojik kırılganlığa sahip oldukları tespit edilmiştir. Araştırmamızda kronik hastalığa sahip bireylerin depresyon puan ortalaması 19,59 ± 9,7 olarak bulunmuştur. Kronik hastalığı olan bireylerin orta düzeyde depresyona sahip oldukları tespit edilmiştir. Kronik hastalığa sahip bireylerin psikolojik kırılganlık düzeyi ile depresyon düzeyi arasında istatistiksel olarak pozitif yönde orta düzeyde birilişki bulunmuştur. Katılımcıların psikolojik kırılganlık ölçeği puanı; medeni durum, eğitim durumu, çalışma durumu, yaşadıkları yer, aile tipi, sağlığı algılama durumu ve hastalığın yaşamı etkileme durumuna göre istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir farklılık göstermiştir. Katılımcıların depresyon ölçeği puanı; yaş, medeni durum, çalışma durumu, sağlığı algılama durumu son altı ay içerisinde hastaneye yatma durumu ve hastalığın yaşamı etkileme durumuna göre istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir farklılık göstermiştir.

ABSTRACT

The aim of this study is to determine the psychological vulnerability and depression levels of individuals with chronic diseases.The type of research is a descriptive and cross-sectional study. Beck depression scale test and scale of psychological vulnerability were applied to the participants. In addition, demographic information of some people was collected with a personal information form. The scales were applied to a total of 205 participants, 126 women and 79 men. According to the findings obtained from the analysis of the data; In our research, the psychological vulnerability score avrage of individuals with chronic diseases has been found as 22,11 ± 5,4 It has been determined that individuals with chronic diseases have high levels of psychological vulnerability. In our research, the depression average of individuals with chronic diseases has been found 19,59 ± 9,7. It has been determined that individuals with chronic diseases have moderate levels of depression. A statistically moderate positive relationship has been found between the psychological vulnerability levels and depression levels of individuals with chronic diseases. Participants' psychological vulnerability scale score has shown a statistically significant difference according to their marital status, educational status, employment status, where they live and family type, health perception and the impact of the disease on life. The depression scale score of the participants has shown a statistically significant difference according to age, marital status, employment status, health perception, hospitalization in the last six months and the impact of the disease on life.
