dc.description.abstract ÖZET Bu çalışmada Mn(II), Co(II) ve Cu(II) geçiş metallerinin orotik asit (H3Or) içeren karışık ligantlı 5 tane kompleksi sentezlendi. Bu komplekslerin yapıları, elementel analiz, IR ve UV-Gör. spektroskopisi ve X-ışınları tek kristal çalışmaları ile aydınlatıldı. İkincil ligant olarak verici atomu azot olan iki dişli pirazin, 1,2-bis(imidazol-1-il) benzen ve 1,3-bis(imidazol-1-il) benzen kullanıldı. Sentezlenen [Co(μ3-HOr)(μ-pz)0.5(H2O)]n (1), [Cu4(HOr)4(μ-mbix)(μ-H2O)(H2O)]n (2), [Co2(HOr)2(µ–mbix)2(H2O)4]4H2O (3), [Mn2(HOr)2(μ-obix)2(H2O)4]·2H2O (4), [Co2(HOr)2(μ-obix)2(H2O)4]·2H2O (5) komplekslerinde, dianyonik orotat ligantının iki farklı bağlanma modu sergilediği belirlendi. Dianyonik orotat, 1 kompleksinde halka azotu, karbonil oksijeni ve karboksil oksijeni (köprü) ile dört dişli köprü olarak, 2-5 komplekslerinde halka azotu ve karboksil oksijeni üzerinden iki dişli olarak metal iyonlarına koordine olduğu belirlendi. 1 ve 2 komplekslerinin polimerik, 3-5 komplekslerinin dimerik olduğu görüldü. 1, 3-5 komplekslerinde metal iyonlarının geometrisi bozulmuş oktahedral olduğu, 2 kompleksinde iki farklı çevreye sahip Cu(II) iyonu bulunduğu ve geometrilerinin karedüzlem ve karepiramit olduğu gözlendi. ABSTRACT In this study, five complexes of transition metals Mn(II), Co(II) and Cu(II) with mixed ligands containing orotic acid (H3Or) were synthesized. The structures of these complexes were determined by elemental analysis, IR and UV-Vis. It was elucidated by spectroscopy and X-ray single crystal studies. As secondary ligands, bidentate pyrazines with nitrogen as donor atoms, 1,2-bis(imidazol-1-yl) benzene and 1,3-bis(imidazol-1-yl) benzene were used. In the synthesized [Co(μ3-HOr)(μ-pz)0.5(H2O)]n (1), [Cu4(HOr)4(μ-mbix)(μ-H2O)(H2O)]n (2),[Co2(HOr)2(µ–mbix)2(H2O)4]·4H2O (3), [Mn2(HOr)2(μ-obix)2(H2O)4]·2H2O (4), [Co2(HOr)2(μ-obix)2(H2O)4]·2H2O (5) it was determined that the dianionic orotate ligand exhibited two different binding modes in the complexes. Dianionic orotate is formed as a four-dentate bridge with ring nitrogen, carbonyl oxygen and carboxyl oxygen (bridge) in the 1 complex, it has been determined that it coordinates to metal ions in a bidentate manner via the ring nitrogen and carboxyl oxygen in 2-5 complexes. It was also observed that complexes 1 and 2 were polymeric, and complexes 3-5 were dimeric. It was observed that in complexes 1, 3-5, the metal ions were octahedral with distorted geometry, while in complex 2 there were Cu(II) ions with two different environments and their geometries were square plane and square pyramid. en_EN
