EVDE SAĞLIK HİZMETİ ALAN HASTALARIN BAKIM VERENLERİNE VERİLEN EĞİTİMİN ÖZ-YETERLİK VE PSİKOLOJİK SAĞLAMLIK DÜZEYLERİ ÜZERİNE ETKİSİ

Abstract

ÖZET

Bu araştırma evde sağlık hizmeti alan hastaların bakım verenlerine verilen eğitimin öz-yeterlik ve psikolojik sağlamlık düzeyleri üzerine etkisini incelemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Ön test - son test randomize kontrol gruplu deneysel tasarımda gerçekleştirilen araştırmanın evrenini, Amasra İlçe Devlet Hastanesi evde sağlık birimine kayıtlı hastalara bakım verenler oluşturmuştur. Araştırmanın örneklemini ise Amasra İlçe Devlet Hastanesi evde sağlık biriminde Aralık 2022- Şubat 2023 tarihleri arasında hizmet alıp çalışmaya katılmayı kabul eden 42 hasta yakını ile yürütülmüştür. Veriler; Katılımcı Bilgi Formu, Genel Öz-Yeterlik Ölçeği, Yetişkin Psikolojik Sağlamlık Ölçeği kullanılarak toplanmıştır. Deney grubuna (n=21) araştırmacı tarafından haftada 1 gün yaklaşık 45 dk olmak üzere 6 haftalık eğitim verilmiştir. Kontrol grubuna (n=21), ön test uygulandıktan sonra herhangi bir müdahalede bulunulmamıştır. Eğitim sonrası son testler, her iki gruba da uygulanmıştır. Verilerin değerlendirilmesinde SPSS versiyon 27 kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde tanımlayıcı özelliklerin gruplar arası karşılaştırılmasında ki-kare testi kullanılmıştır. Veriler normal dağılıma uygun bulunmuştur. Bakım verenlerin gruplar arası karşılaştırılmasında bağımsız örneklem t testi; grup içi karşılaştırılmasında bağımlı örneklem t testi kullanılmıştır ve veriler p<0,05 anlamlılık düzeyinde test edilmiştir. Verilen eğitim sonrasında deney grubundaki katılımcıların kontrol grubundaki katılımcılara göre öz-yeterlilik ve psikolojik sağlamlık düzeylerinin arttığı bulunmuştur. Sonuç olarak evde sağlık hizmetinde sadece hastaların değil bakım verenlerin de psikososyal açıdan düzenli olarak değerlendirilmesi yapılıp bakım verenlere eğitim ve danışmanlık gibi hizmetlerin verilmesi önerilebilir.

ABSTRACT

The aim of this study is to investigate the effect of the training given to home health care workers self-efficacy and psychological resilience levels. The scope of the study, which was carried out in a pre-test post-test experimental design with a randomized control group, consisted of patients registered to Amasra District State Hospital, home health unit and their caregivers. The study was conducted with 42 patient relatives who received service at the Amasra District State Hospital home health unit between December 2022 and February 2023 and agreed to participate in the study. Personel Information Form, General Self-Efficacy Scale, and Adult Psychological Resilience Scale were used to collect the data. The researcher gave training to the Experimental group (n=21) for 6 weeks, once a week for approximately 45 minutes. No intervention was made to the control group (n=21) after the pre-test was applied. Post-tests were applied to both groups after training. SPSS version 27 was used to evaluate the data. In data analysis, chi-square test was used to compare descriptive characteristics between groups. The data were found to be suitable for normal distribution. Independent samples t test was used for comparison of caregivers between groups. Also, dependent sample t test was used for intra-group comparison and the data was tested at the p<0,05 significance level. It was observed that experimental group’s self-efficacy and psychological resilience scores were meaningly higher than the control group’s scores. As a result, it may be recommended that caregivers in home health care services be regularly evaluated from a psychosocial perspective and that caregivers be trained.
