TÜRK OKURLARIN JAPON MANGA KÜLTÜRÜNE YÖNELİK GÖRÜŞLERİ

Abstract

ÖZ Manga, Japonya için büyük bir sanat ve kültür olup, milyonlarca satan çizgi romanlardır. Bu kültürel çizgi roman sanatı zamanla sadece Japonya’da değil, tüm dünyada bilinirliğini arttırıp, evrensel olarak okuyucu çekmeyi başarmıştır. Bu okuyucu kitlesinin Türkiye’de de oluştuğu görülmüştür. Bu çalışma, Türk okuyucuların Japon mangasına olan ilgi ve düşüncelerini sosyal, kültürel boyutlarda daha iyi anlamak üzere yapılan bir çalışmadır. Çalışma, Türk okuyucuların tercihlerini doğrudan araştırmaktadır. Kendilerine uygun olarak gördükleri türler ve sevdikleri demografiler gözlemlenmiştir. Son yıllarda mangaya gözle görülür bir biçimde artan ilgi boyutunun sebepleri incelenmiştir. Okuyucularla bire bir görüşmeler yapılıp, manganın okuyucular üzerindeki ana etkenleri ele alındığında ciddi şekilde hayal gücünün gelişmesini sağladığı, sanatsal, görsel, hikaye anlatımı olarak fazlasıyla beğenildiği ve ilgi çekici olduğu anlaşılmaktır. Bu çalışmada, Türk manga okuyucularının verdiği cevaplar göz önüne alındığında her birinin hayatında Japon mangalarının etki bıraktığı da verilen yanıtlardan anlaşılmıştır. Japon mangalarının Türk okuyucuları tarafından neden sevildiği ve neden dikkat çekici bulunduğu bu yanıtlarla daha fazla açığa çıkmış ve tespit edilmiştir.

ABSTRACT Manga is a great art and culture for Japan, selling millions of copies of comic books. Over time, this cultural comic book art has become known not only in Japan but all over the world and has managed to attract universal readers. It has been observed that this readership has also been formed in Turkey. This study is a study conducted to better understand the interest and thoughts of Turkish readers in Japanese manga in social and cultural dimensions. The study directly investigates the preferences of Turkish readers. The genres they see as suitable for them and their favorite demographics were observed. The reasons for the increasing interest in manga in recent years have been analyzed. By conducting one-on-one interviews with readers, it is understood that when the main factors of manga on readers are discussed, it is understood that it provides serious imagination development, is highly appreciated and interesting in terms of artistic, visual, storytelling. In this study, considering the answers given by Turkish manga readers, it is understood from the answers given that Japanese manga has left an impact on the lives of each of them. The reasons why Japanese manga is loved and found remarkable by Turkish readers have been further revealed and identified through these responses.
