ÖZEL YETENEK SINAVINA GİREN ADAYLARIN MESLEK SEÇİMLERİNDEKİ MOTİVASYON DÜZEYLERİ İLE BEDEN EĞİTİMİ ÖĞRETMENLİĞİ MESLEĞİNE YÖNELİK İNANÇ ALGILARININ İNCELENMESİ

Abstract

ÖZET

Bu araştırmanın amacı özel yetenek sınavına giren adayların meslek seçimlerindeki motivasyon düzeyleri ile beden eğitimi öğretmenliği mesleğine yönelik inanç algılarının incelenmesidir. Araştırmada tarama modellerinden ilişkisel tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırmaya 2022-2023 yılı Karabük Üniversitesi Hasan Doğan Beden Eğitimi ve Spor Yüksekokulu özel yetenek sınavına giren 344 aday katılmıştır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak ‘’Kişisel Bilgi Formu’’, Mayr (1998) tarafından geliştirilen, Atav ve Altunoğlu (2013) tarafından Türkçe’ye uyarlanan 4 alt boyut, 21 maddeden oluşan ‘’Meslek ve Alan Seçiminde Motivasyon Ölçeği (MASMÖ)’’, Fan (2018) ve arkadaşları tarafından geliştirilen, Doğru ve diğerleri (2019)’ nin Türkçe’ye uyarladığı 2 alt boyut, 12 maddeden oluşan ‘’Beden Eğitimi ve Spor Öğretmenliği Mesleğine Yönelik İnanç Ölçeği (BESÖMİÖ)’’ kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen verilerin incelenmesinde SPSS-24 paketi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonuçları, katılımcıların meslek ve alan seçiminde motivasyon ölçeği alt boyutları ile beden eğitimi ve spor öğretmenliği mesleğine yönelik inanç ölçeği toplamı ve alt boyutları arasında pozitif yönde anlamlı ilişkilerin olduğu görülmektedir.

ABSTRACT

The purpose of this research is to examine the motivation levels of candidates taking the special talent exam in their career choices and their perception of beliefs towards the physical education teaching profession. The relational scanning model, one of the scanning models, was used in the research. 344 candidates who took the 2022-2023 Karabük University Hasan Doğan School of Physical Education and Sports special talent exam participated in the research. "Personal Information Form" was used as a data collection tool in the research, and "Motivation Scale for Career and Field Selection (MASMÖ)" was developed by Mayr (1998) and adapted into Turkish by Atav and Altunoğlu (2013), consisting of 4 sub-dimensions and 21 items. ', "Belief Scale towards the Physical Education and Sports Teaching Profession (BESÖMİÖ)", which consists of 2 sub-dimensions and 12 items, developed by Fan (2018) and his colleagues and adapted into Turkish by Doğru et al. (2019), was used. SPSS-24 package was used to examine the data obtained. The results of the research show that there are positive significant relationships between the participants' motivation scale sub-dimensions in choosing a profession and field and the total and sub-dimensions of the belief scale towards the profession of physical education and sports teaching.
