Temettuât Defterlerine Göre Kızılağaç Kazası’nın Sosyo-Ekonomik Yapısı

Abstract

ÖZ Osmanlı Devlet’ inde 1839 yılında Tanzimat Fermanı’ nın ilanıyla birlikte sosyal, iktisadi ve hukuki birçok alanda yenilikler yapılmıştır. Gelir adaletinin sağlanması amacıyla herkesin gelirine göre vergi alınması usulü bu yeniliklerden biridir. Bunun için birçok yerde emlak, hayvan ve gelirlerin kaydedildiği temettuât defterleri hazırlanmıştır. Bu defterler ait oldukları bölgenin demografik, idari sosyal ve iktisadi yapısı hakkında değerli bilgiler vermektedir. Bu nedenle Temettuat defterleri Tanzimat Dönemi yerel tarih çalışmaları için önemli bir kaynaktır. Bu çalışmanın esas kaynağı Cumhurbaşkanlığı Osmanlı Arşivi’ nde yer alan 1845-46 yılına ait Kızılağaç Kazası temettuât defteridir. Kızılağaç Kazasına bağlı köylerde hane yapıları, meslekler, nüfus, zirai ve iktisadi yapılar bu defter ışığında incelenmiştir. Kızılağaç Kazası’ nın 19. yüzyıl ortalarında sosyo-ekonomik durumu ortaya konulmaya çalışılmıştır.

ABSTRACT In Ottoman Empire there had done alot of innovations in terms of social, financial and legal fields with the declaration of imperial edict of reorganization in 1839. They way of collecting taxes by taking the individdual’s income into consideration in order to maintain income juctice is one of those innovations. Temettuat Registers are prepared where estate and animal incomes are recorded in most of the places. These registers contain various crucial information about the region’s demographic, executive, social and econımical structures. That is why imperial edict of reorganization reform era is an important source in terms local history studies. The main source of this study is the Kızılağaç district Temettuat Registers dates back to 1845-46 which is involved in Prime Ministry Ottoman Archieve. Residence, occupations, population, agricultural and economical structures in the provinces and registers notebook. Teherefore socio-economical situation of Kızılağaç District during mid XIX century is tried to be revealed.
