Üniversite Öğrencilerinde Girişimcilik Niyeti ve Kariyer Planlaması İlişkisi: Karabük Üniversitesinde Bir Araştırma

Abstract

ÖZ Önemi her geçen gün artan girişimcilik kavramının, kişilerin kariyer planlarında daha fazla yere sahip olması elbette ki gerek bireye ve gerekse topluma birçok açıdan katkıda bulunacaktır. Bu çalışma ile üniversite eğitimlerine devam eden öğrencilerin, girişimcilik niyetlerinin kariyer planlamalarında ne derece önem arz ettiğini tespit etmek, öğrencilerin girişimcilik niyetlerini ve girişimciliği kariyer olarak düşünmelerinde hangi faktörlerin etkili olduğunu ortaya koymak amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma, Karabük Üniversitesinin çeşitli bölümlerinde eğitim hayatına devam eden üniversite öğrencilerini kapsamaktadır. Veriler, 442 öğrenci üzerinde anket uygulaması ile toplanmıştır. Elde edilen veriler IBM SPSS 22, LISREL 8.7 ve AMOS 24.0 yazılımları ile analiz edilmiş edilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda elde edilen bulgulardan yola çıkarak öğrencilerin girişimcilik niyetinin genel olarak yüksek olduğu ifade edilebilir. Ulaşılan bulgular sonucunda, hükümetlerin ve girişimcilik için katkı sağlayan kuruluşların destek ve yardımlarını çoğaltmaları ayrıca hükümetler tarafından bürokratik engellerin kaldırılması ya da azaltılması yönünde alınacak önlemlerle kişilerin kariyer planlamalarında girişimciliğe daha fazla yer vermesine olumlu yönde katkı sağlanabilir.

ABSTRACT The fact that the concept of entrepreneurship, whose importance is increasing day by day, has more place in the people's career plans, will of course contribute to both the individual and the society in many ways. The aim of this study is to determine the importance of the entrepreneurship intentions of the students attending university education in their career planning, and to determine which factors are effective for students to think about entrepreneurship intentions and entrepreneurship as a career. The research includes university students who continue their education in various departments of Karabuk University. The data were collected with a questionnaire on 442 students. The data were analyzed with IBM SPSS 22, LISREL 8.7 and AMOS 24.0 softwares. Based on the findings obtained from the research, it can be stated that the entrepreneurship intention of the students is generally high. As a result of these findings, it is possible to increase the support and assistance of governments and organizations contributing to entrepreneurship and also to take more place in entrepreneurship in career planning by measures taken by governments to remove or reduce bureaucratic barriers.
