Edremit Körfezindeki İlçelerde Tarıma Dayalı Sanayi

Abstract

ÖZ Tarıma dayalı sanayi (agro endüstri), tarım ve sanayi sektörlerinin karşılıklı etkileşimleri sonucunda ortaya çıkmış bir sanayi koludur. Agro endüstri, hammaddesinin büyük bir kısmını tarım sektöründen karşılayan ve tarımsal hammaddeleri farklı yöntemlerle işleyen, ürünlerin nicelik ve niteliklerini değiştiren imalat sanayi yelpazesi içerisindeki önemli sanayi kollarından biridir. Bir bölgenin tarıma dayalı sanayi potansiyelini ortaya koymak için öncelikle bölgenin mevcut potansiyelini saptamak gerekmektedir. Bu bağlamda öncelikle ilçelerin Ticaret Odalarından çalışmanın amacına ve yöntemine uygun olarak üye listeleri alınmıştır. Daha sonra, Edremit Yöresindeki tarıma dayalı sanayi tesislerinin sektörel dağılımlarına göre üretim tesislerinin yöredeki dağılışları saptanmış, sanayi faaliyetlerinin gerçekleşmesi için gerekli olan şartların ne şekilde sağlandığı yerinde tespit edilmiştir. Çalışmada “Karma Araştırma Modeli” uygulanmıştır. Yöre halkı ile zeytincilik hakkında söyleşiler yapılmış ve sanayi kuruluşlarının en az bir yetkilisi ile mülakat gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmanın temelini oluşturan, Edremit Körfezindeki ilçelerde zeytinyağı üreten işletmelerin sayıları azalmış veya artmıştır. Yörede bulunan tarıma dayalı sanayi kuruluşları tarımsal üretimi arttırmıştır veya azaltmıştır. Hipotezleri bu çalışmada açık ve net bir şekilde sınanmıştır. Çalışmada, Türkiye İstatistik Kurumu, Güney Marmara Kalkınma Ajansı, Meteoroloji Genel Müdürlüğü vb. kurumların güncel verilerden yararlanılmıştır. Türkiye adına Edremit Körfezindeki tarıma dayalı sanayi kuruluşlarının faal durumda olması ve üretim sürecindeki devamlılığı önem arz etmektedir. Çalışmanın sonucunda elde edilen bulgulara göre; yöredeki zeytinyağı üreten fabrika ve atölyelerin sayılarında azalma meydana geldiği tespit edilmiştir. Sahada kapatılan zeytinyağı üretim tesislerinin birçoğunun butik otellere çevrildiği saptanmıştır. Çalışmanın diğer hipotezinde çeşitli tarıma dayalı sanayi sektöründe faal durumda olan üretim

tesislerinin bulunduğu ilçelerde tarımsal üretimi yani hammadde üretimini arttırdığı güncel verilerle ispat edilmiştir. Çalışmanın sonunda yörenin kalkınması ve gelişmesi adına planlanmaya dair öneriler sunulmuştur.

ABSTRACT Agriculture based industry (agro industry) is an industry branch that has emerged as a result of the interactions between agriculture and industrial sectors. Agro industry is one of the major industrial branches within the range of manufacturing industries, which meet the majority of its raw materials from the agricultural sector and process agricultural raw materials by different methods, changing the quantity and quality of the products. In order to demonstrate the agricultural industrial potential of a region, it is necessary to determine the current potential of the region first. In this context, members lists were obtained from the chambers of Commerce of the districts in accordance with the purpose and method of the study. Later, the distribution of the production facilities in the region was determined according to the sectoral distribution of the agricultural-based industrial facilities in the Edremit Gulf and the conditions necessary for the realization of the industrial activities were determined at the site. The “mixed research model” was applied in the study. Interviews were conducted with local people about oil and interviews were conducted with at least one official of industrial organizations. The number of olive oil-producing businesses has decreased or increased in the districts in Edremit Gulf, which form the basis of the research. Turkish Statistical Institute, Southern Marmara Development Agency, General Directorate of Meteorology etc. up to date data of the institutions have been utilized. On behalf of Turkey, it is important that the agricultural based industrial establishments in Edremit Gulf are active and their continuity in the production process. According to the results of the study, it was determined that the number of olive oil producing factories and workshops in the region decreased. Many of the olive oil production facilities that were closed in the field were turned into boutique hotels. In the other hypothesis of the study, it has been proved with current data that it increases agricultural production, i.e. raw material production, in districts where

production facilities are active in various agricultural industry sectors. At the end of the study, suggestions on planning for the development and development of the region were presented.
