Okul Müdürünün Dağıtımcı Liderlik Davranışları İle Okulların Etkililiği Arasındaki İlişkinin İncelenmesi

Abstract

ÖZ Bu araştırmanın amacı, öğretmen algıları açısından okul müdürünün dağıtımcı liderlik davranışları ile okulların etkililik düzeyleri arasında anlamlı bir ilişki olup olmadığının belirlenmesidir. Bu araştırmada korelasyon türü ilişkisel tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Verilerin toplanmasında ‘’Etkili Okul Ölçeği’’ ve ‘’Dağıtımcı Liderlik Ölçeği’’ bir formda toplanarak 2018-2019 Eğitim öğretim yılında Karabük ili merkez ilçesindeki ilkokul ve ortaokullardaki öğretmenlere uygulanmış ve bu formlardan 278’i değerlendirilmiştir. Araştırma verilerinin istatistiksel çözümlemelerinde SPSS 24 istatistik paket programı kullanılmıştır. Bu araştırmanın verilerinin çözümlenmesi sürecinde okulların etkililik düzeyleri ile dağıtımcı liderlik davranışlarınin belirlenmesinde yüzde, aritmetik ortalama ve standart sapmadan yararlanılmıştır. Öğretmen görüşlerine göre anlamlılık düzeylerinin karşılaştırılmasında bağımsız t testi ve tek yönlü varyans analizi kullanılmıştır. Okulların etkililik düzeyleri ile okul müdürlerinin dağıtımcı liderlik davranışları arasında anlamlı bir ilişki olup olmadığının belirlenmesinde ise Pearson Korelasyon Katsayısı, değişkenlerin yordanmasında ise Çoklu Regresyon Analizi kullanılmıştır. Sonuç olarak etkili okul ve okul müdürlerinin dağıtımcı liderlik davranışları ile ilgili öğretmen görüşlerinin cinsiyet, okul türü, branş, görev yapılan okuldaki hizmet süresi ve kıdeme göre farklılaşmadığı görülmüştür. Etkili okul ile okul müdürlerinin dağıtımcı liderlik davranışları arasında pozitif yönlü yüksek düzeyde bir ilişki olduğu saptanmıştır.

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is to determine whether there is a significant relationship between school leadership's distributed leadership characteristics and effectiveness levels of schools in terms of teacher perceptions. In this research, correlational research was used. In instrumental data, ‘Effective School Questionnaire’ and ’Distributed Leadership Scale’ were combined in a form and applied to the teachers in primary and secondary schools in the central district of Karabük in 2018-2019 academic year and 278 of these forms were evaluated. The data were analyzed with SPSS statistical package program. In the process of analyzing the data of this research, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, percentage values were used to determine the effectiveness levels and distributed leadership characteristics of schools; and in order to compare the significance levels according to the opinions of the teachers, t-test and one-way analysis of variance were used. Pearson product-moment correlation coefficient analysis was used to determine whether there is a significant relationship between the effectiveness levels of schools and the distributed leadership characteristics of the school principal; and simple regression analysis was used to determine the strength of the relationships. According to the findings of this study, it is concluded that the opinions of teachers about the distributed leadership characteristics of effective school and school principal do not differ according to gender, school type, branch, service period and seniority in the school and there is a high positive relationship between the distributed leadership characteristics of the school principal.
