| dc.description.sponsorship | ÖZET Bu araştırmanın amacı, kütüphane ortamında verilen Kitapların Eğlenceli Dünyası Eğitim Programı’nın çocukların erken okuryazarlık becerilerine etkisini belirlemektir. Araştırmanın örneklemini 2018-2019 eğitim öğretim yılında okul öncesi eğitim alan, 4-5 yaş grubu 24 çocuk oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada Kitapların Eğlenceli Dünyası Eğitim Programı’nın çocukların erken okuryazarlık becerilerine etkisini belirlemek amacıyla ön test - son test kontrol gruplu yarı deneysel desen kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın verileri ve katılımcıların genel bilgilerini elde etmek amacıyla Genel Bilgi Formu hazırlanmıştır. Çalışma kapsamında önce Erken Okuryazarlık Becerilerini Değerlendirme Ölçeği kullanılarak ön testler hazırlanmış ve uygulanmış, daha sonra deney gruplarına on iki hafta süren, her hafta bir gün kütüphane, bir gün sınıf etkinliği olacak şekilde Kitapların Eğlenceli Dünyası Eğitim Programı uygulanarak eğitimin sonunda son test yapılmıştır. Programın uygulaması öncesinde velilerle görüşülmüş ve program hakkında bilgilendirme yapılmıştır. Her uygulama sonrası ebeveynlere bilgilendirme ve öneri mektupları gönderilmiştir. On iki hafta süren etkinlik uygulaması sonrasında tüm örnekleme son testler uygulanmış ve elde edilen veriler SPSS 18 paket programı kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Yapılan testlerde kontrol ve deney grupları ön test puanları arasında önemli bir fark bulunmamıştır. Bu bulgu kontrol ve deney gruplarının programı uygulamadan önce okuryazarlık beceri düzeylerinin benzer olduğunu göstermektedir. Kontrol ve deney gruplarının son test puanlarının analizinde Wilcoxon X, ANOVA ve Bağımsız Gruplar T Testinden yararlanılmıştır. Analizler sonucunda deney grubunun lehine anlamlı farklılık bulunmuştur. Araştırmanın bulguları, Kitapların Eğlenceli Dünyası Eğitim Programı’nın çocukların erken okuryazarlık becerileri üzerinde olumlu bir etkiye sahip olduğunu göstermektedir. ABSTRACT The aim of this study is to determine the effect of "The Fun World of Books Education Program" given in the library environment on the early literacy skills of children. The sample of the study consists of 24 children in the 4-5 age group who received pre-school education in the academic year 2018-2019. In the research, a semi-experimental pattern with pretest-posttest control group was used to determine the effect of the Fun World of Books Education Program on children's early literacy skills. A General Information Form was prepared to obtain the data of the research and the general information of the participants. Within the scope of the study, first preliminary tests were prepared and applied using the Early Literacy Skills Assessment Scale, and then the Fun World of Books Training Program was applied to the experimental groups, which will be a library and one day class activity every week, and the final test was done at the end of the training. Before the implementation of the program, parents were interviewed and informed about the program. Information and suggestion letters were sent to the parents after each application. After twelve weeks of activity application, all sampling post tests were applied and the data obtained were analyzed using the SPSS 18 package program. In the tests performed, there was no significant difference between the control and experimental groups pretest scores. This finding shows that the literacy skill levels of the control and experimental groups were similar before implementing the program. Wilcoxon X, ANOVA and Independent Groups T Test were used in the analysis of the posttest scores of the control and experimental groups. As a result of the analyzes, a significant difference was found in favor of the experimental group. The findings of the study show that the Fun World of Books Education Program has a positive effect on children's early literacy skills. | en_EN |
