Tabakâtü’s-Sûfiyye’de Mahmud Es’ad Coşan’ın Ele Aldığı Bazı Ahlâkî Değerler

Abstract

ÖZ Bu çalışmada 1991 - 1996 tarihleri arasında çeşitli platformlarda Tasavvuf Sohbetleri adı altında Ebû Abdurrahman es-Sülemî (ö.412 /1021)’nin Tabakâtü’s-sûfiyye eserine Prof. Dr. Mahmud Es’ad Coşan tarafından getirilen açıklama ve yorumlardan yola çıkarak sûfîlerin üzerinde durduğu ahlâkî değerleri ortaya çıkarmaya gayret ettik. Amacımız, sûfîlerin üzerinde durduğu ahlâkî değer yargıları konusunda çalışma yapmak ve ahlâkî değerler konusunda yapılan akademik çalışmalara katkı sağlamaktır. Tezimiz giriş ve iki bölümden oluşmaktadır. Giriş bölümünde, bu çalışmanın amacı, kaynakları, konusu ve hedefleri açıklanmaya çalışılmıştır. Birinci bölümde Mahmud Es’ad Coşan’ın hayatına, eserlerine ve sosyal hayattaki faaliyetlerine; daha sonra Ebû Abdurrahman es-Sülemî’nin hayatına, eserlerine ve bir tasavvuf klasiği haline dönüşen Tabakâtü’s-sûfiyye adlı eserine kısaca yer verilmiştir. Araştırmanın ikinci bölümünde ise, Mahmud Es’ad Coşan’ın sohbetlerinden yola çıkarak ahlâkî prensipler ele alınmıştır. Günümüz insanına ve dervişânına verilmesi istenilen önemli bazı ahlâkî değerler izâh edilerek çalışma nihâyetlendirilmiştir.

ABSTRACT In this study, based on the explanations and comments about the work of Abu Abdurrahman es-Sülemî (d. 412/1021) Tabakâtü’s-Sûfiyye under the name of sufi conversations which was made by Mahmud Es’ad Coşan, we have tried to reveal the moral values that the Sufis emphasize. Our aim is to work on the moral value judgements that sufis emphasize and contribute to the academic works which were about the moral values. Our thesis consists of introduction and two parts. In the introduction part, the purpose, sources, subject and objectives of this study are tried to be explained. In the first part, the life, works and social activities of Mahmud Es’ad Coşan; Later, the life and works of Abu Abdurrahman es-Sülemî and Tabakâtü’s-Sûfiyye, which turned into a sufi classic, were briefly included. In the second part of the research, moral principles are discussed based on the conversations of Mahmud Es’ad Coşan. The work is finalized by explaining the sufi behavior and moral values that are desired to be given to today’s people and dervishes.
