Özet
The huge evolution of technology in the area of IoT has resulted in significant changes in how we work and live. Despite the many benefits of the IoT, it has to be remembered that the IoT consumes energy as well. It pollutes the environment and generates electronic waste. Both of these place new strains on both the environment and the smart world. The demand for green IoT is growing as well, allowing us to increase the advantages of IoT while reducing its harm. The 'green internet of things' is envisioned as the IoT future which is friendly to the environment. To accomplish that, a variety of steps must be implemented to reduce carbon emissions, save resources, and encourage efficient practices for energy use. This study aims to provide an overview of green IoT. It also goes into how green IoT may be used. In addition, green IOT technologies are discussed. Finally, green IoT research directions and challenges are discussed. © 2022 IEEE.
