Özet
Especially in the last decade, global energy policies are undergoing transformations towardsmore efficient and efficient use of renewable energy sources. Both global climate change andenvironmental concerns and the energy policies implemented by countries on the basis of energysecurity include increasing the use of blue energies not only in electricity generation, but also inthe industrial and transport sectors. Advances in energy technologies make it possible to obtainhydrogen at less cost, which leads to an increase in demand for hydrogen. In recent years, significant progress has been made in the transport sector and in the use of hydrogen inelectricity generation. Hydrogen-powered cars, first produced as prototypes in the 1990s, havenow become a commercial technology. In this sense, hydrogen energy has a strategic mission asa sustainable1resource capable of directly achieving zero emission targets. In the expansion ofhydrogen use, the shipment of hydrogen to consumption geographies that can be transported byships and railways as a result of the presence of suitable terminal conditions with pipelines as agas and cryogenic trucks as a liquid will serve to the emergence of the hydrogen economy andthe expansion of hydrogen use. The scope of the study focuses on global developments inhydrogen energy. The study aims to address the role of hydrogen energy as a rising resource inglobal energy policies. The research has a qualitative method and the document analysis methodhas been used as a data collection technique. According to the findings, hydrogen energy isbecoming a rational actor in global energy policies.
