Özet
The effects on the employment structure of the host country where the foreign directinvestment takes place appear in two ways; directly and indirectly. Direct foreign investment inthe form of the establishment of a new company is expected to have a positive effect onemployment due to its direct effects on employment. At the same time, the direct foreigninvestment may indirectly affect employment due to sectoral links. This study aims toinvestigate the impact of foreign direct investment on employment. The Time-Series Analysismethod was chosen as the econometric method. The \"Foreign direct investment has a positivecorrelation with employment\" hypothesis was developed through this method and ameaningful long-term relationship between foreign direct investment and employment wasidentified as a result of the test.
