Özet
The ancient city of Tios is situated near the mouth of the river Billaios (Filyos), at the western part of the Turkish Black Sea coast, in the province of Zonguldak. Tios is one of the few ancient sites along this coastline not submerged under modern buildings or deep deposits. It therefore presents a unique, for the archaeological research, opportunity to investigate the development, structure and character of a long-lived settlement on this coast. © Archaeopress 2016.
