Özet
The aim of this study is to research the effects of acute exercise applied to sedentary individuals on muscle damage. 14 male university students with average age of 20.4 +/- 0.65, average weight of 76.86 +/- 2.08 kg and average height of 175.07 +/- 1.26 cm, were included in the study. As for the exercise application, the subjects were made tired through Bruce protocol. In the obtained blood samples, the parameters of Creatine Kinase (CK), Lactate Dehydrogenase (LDH), Alanine Aminotransferase (ALT) and Aspartate Aminotransferase (AST) were analyzed. While there were significant differences between CK, LDH parameters, there was no significant difference between the measurements of AST and ALT. The confidence interval was determined as 95% and the values about and below p<0.05. Consequently, it can be inferred that while acute exercise over sedentaries causes considerable increase on CK and LDH enzyme levels and they come back to normal values at the end of forty eight hours; it doesn't cause statistically considerable increase on AST and ALT levels.
