Özet
Bu çalışmada, 100Cr6 çeliğinin form tornalama işleminde kullanılan üç farklı sermet kalitesine sahip kesici ucun kesme performansları araştırılmıştır. İlk aşamada, dik kesme yöntemine göre tornalama simülasyonları yapılarak kesme kuvvetleri ve kesici uç üzerinde oluşan gerilmeler incelenmiş ve en uygun talaş açıları belirlenmiştir. Daha sonra, 6205 kodlu rulman dış bileziği kapak yuvası formuna uygun üç farklı talaş açısına sahip kesici uçlar dizayn edilmiştir. Tasarlanan form uç geometrisi, üç farklı honlama süresi kullanılarak üç farklı sermet kesici takım kalitesi üzerine uygulanmıştır. Elde edilen form uçlar ile tek milli torna tezgahında kesici takım ömür deneyleri gerçekleştirilmiş ve sonuçlar analiz edilmiştir. Yapılan analizler sonucunda, kesici uç ömrüne etki eden en önemli faktörlerin sırasıyla talaş açısı, uç kalitesi ve honlama süresi olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Kesici takım ömrü için yapılan optimizasyon çalışması sonucunda, TN90 kalite uç, 4° talaş açısı ve 7 dakika honlama süresi ile maksimum kesici takım ömrünün elde edilebileceği tespit edilmiştir.
In this study, the cutting performance of three different cermet grade inserts used in form turning process of 100Cr6 steel were investigated. In the first step, the cutting forces and the stresses on the cutting edge were examined by turning simulations according to the vertical cutting method and the optimum rake angles were determined. Then, the cutting inserts with three different rake angles are designed in accordance with the bearing outer ring cover sleeve with code 6205. The designed form insert geometry was applied on three different cermet cutting tool qualities using three different honing times. With the obtained form inserts, cutting tool life tests were performed on single spindle lathe and the results were analyzed. As a result of the analyzes, it was found that the most important factors affecting the cutting tool life were rake angle, insert quality and honing time, respectively. As a result of the optimization study for cutting tool life, it was determined that maximum cutting tool life can be achieved with TN90 quality insert, 4 ° chip angle and 7 minutes honing time.
