Özet
Bafra İlçesinin Coğrafyası adlı tezde fiziki coğrafya, beşeri coğrafya ve iktisadi (ekonomik) coğrafya özelliklerine değinilmiştir. Fiziki coğrafya bölümünde İlçenin; jeolojisi, jeomorfolojisi, hidrografyasını, toprağını, bitki örtüsünü ve iklim özelliklerini hakkında bilgi bulunmaktadır. Beşeri coğrafya bölümünde; Nüfus özelliklerin, yerleşme şeklini, dağılışını ve özellikleri hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. Ekonomik coğrafya bölümünde ilçenin sahip olduğu ekonomik potansiyeli hakkında bilgiler bulunmaktadır. Bu bölümde tarım, hayvancılık, enerji ve hammadde kaynakları, balıkçılık, sanayi, ulaşım, ticaret ve turizm faaliyetleri hakkında bilgi bulunmaktadır. Araştırma sahamızda doğal çevre özellikleri ile çevresinden ayrılmaktadır. Kızılırmak'ın Anadolu'yu dolaşarak getirdiği alüvyonların birikmesiyle 6-7 bin yıl önce oluşan deltada göller, dağlar, vadiler, akarsular doğal fiziki unsurlardır. Geçmişten bugüne kadar insanların yaşamak için tercih ettiği yerdir. Eski devirlerden bu güne kadar medeniyetlere ev sahipliği yapmıştır. Günümüzde de nüfusu bakımından önemli bir yer tutmuştur. Bafra tarım ile ön plana çıksana ilçede her türlü ekonomik faaliyet gelişmiştir. Ülkemizin en verimli topraklarından olan Bafra'da her türlü tarım ürüne ekilmektedir. İklimin el verdiği kadar her çeşit ürünü görmek mümkündür. Tarımın yanı sıra sanayi ve ticaret gelişmiştir. İlçede çok sayıda fabrika ve atölye bulunmaktadır. Merkezinde ise bini aşkın ticarethane ile ticaret büyük öneme sahiptir. Enerji kaynaklarında ise iki adet barajdan bahsedilmiştir.

The lakes, mountains, valleys, rivers are natural physical elements in the deltada formed 6-7 thousand years ago by the accumulation of the alluviums that Kızılırmak brought to Anatolia. It is the place people choose to live from the past until today. It has been home to civilizations from ancient times to this day. Today, it has an important place in terms of population. As Bafra agriculture came to the forefront, every kind of economic activity developed in the district. Bafra, which is one of the most fertile lands of our country, is planted in all kinds of agricultural products. It is possible to see all kinds of products as much as the climate can handle. Agriculture has developed as well as industry and trade. There are many factories and workshops in the district. If you are in the center of trade with the trading house you have a great deal. Two sources of energy are mentioned in energy resources.
