Özet

Since the dawn of human history, the concept of energy has been essential for the existence of living things. All living things generate the energy required for survival spontaneously within their bodies by changing the air, water, and nutrients they take in from their surroundings to stay alive. Additionally, the sun, wind, thermal, and other natural energy sources that are beneficial to living things include these. The only other living thing that can generate its energy outside of its own body is the human being, which is unique among all other species. It uses the nearby resources of wood, coal, and other comparable materials while generating energy outside the human body. In addition to this, people have learned how to exploit the sun, wind, stream, and other natural resources in the most effective way possible, just like other living creatures, but unlike them. Humans can also generate more energy than they require in the current social structure. In today's civilization, the role of energy and energy resources has increased. In addition to this, people have learned how to exploit the sun, wind, stream, and other natural resources in the most effective way possible, just like other living creatures, but unlike them. Humans can also generate more energy than they require in the current social structure. To meet the energy needs of the expanding and developing world population, energyresources must be used as efficiently as possible. This harms the environment by increasing carbon emissions during both the production and consumption stages and altering the global climate in a way that makes it difficult to live. Governments have long been aware of this predicament, and they have started to adopt energy policies that emphasize clean, renewable energy sources. These regulations seek to reduce carbon emissions from energy production and consumption to combat potential climatic disasters. Renewable and clean energy sources are referred to as "green energy"throughout the production and consumption phases since they harm the environment as little as possible. Governments are looking for strategies and procedures that will reduce energy demand and consumption while simultaneously attempting to improve energy supply by utilizing clean and renewable energy sources. There is a trend toward products and services that use less energy in industrial production to meet human requirements to reduce energy consumption. Governments create energy policies that address energy demand and supply on the one hand ; however, it is seen that the need for energy consumption is rising above expectations despite all these policies on the other hand. The existing energy culture, which is unsuitable for "green energy" policies, is the main cause of this. In this study, it is emphasized how important it is to have an energy culture that supports the idea of "green energy" and how an inadequate energy culture can stand in the way of such goals. The study also aims to describe the cultural requirements to put green energy policy into practice on the side of energy consumption. The study offers recommendations for developing an energy culture that is appropriate for the idea of "green energy." © 2024 Nova Science Publishers, Inc.
