Özet
The concept of entertainment is as old as the history of humanity. Music is one of the primary elements of entertainment. Music has had an important place in Islamic states after the conversion to Islam as well. The Seljuks of Turkey are one of the states that have kept the world of music alive. During the reign of the Seljuks in Anatolia, music experienced a lively and productive period both in court life and in the everyday life of ordinary people. This study excludes ceremonial and religious music from its scope and evaluates the condition of entertainment music in Anatolia during the Seljuk period.
