The study group of the research consists of 211 children aged 5-6 years and their mothers. Personal Information Form and Self-Regulation Skills Scale for 4-6 Years-Old Children Teacher Form were used to collect data. In the analysis of the data, Mann Whitney U Test, which is one of the nonparametric tests for the variable of children’s gender, preschool attendance and digital game playing status; Kruskal Wallis-H Test was applied for the variables of frequency of playing digital games and education level of parents. As a result of the research, it was found that the self-regulation skills of the children were above the medium level; It was observed that there was a significant difference between self-regulation skills and gender, preschool attendance, digital game playing status, digital game playing frequency, and mother and father education level. © (2024), (T.C.
