With this driver, Switched Reluctance Motors can easily be driven using industrial controllers. In addition, with some simple changes on driver, Switched Reluctance Motors with different phase numbers can also be driven. S7-1200 PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) was preferred for the test of the driver. PID (Proportional Integral Derivative) algorithm was used for speed control of the motor. PID parameters are automatically adjusted with PLC software. The performance of the driver was tested for different speed and load values using PID controller. © 2013 IEEE.eninfo:eu-repo/semantics/closedAccesspidplcsrmsrm driverDesign and implementation of switched reluctance motor driver for industrial controllerConference Object10.1109/PowerEng.2013.66357072-s2.0-84887353277774N/A770
