The remains of a Byzantine church and Late Roman walls were found. The walls of the structures consist of rectangular blocks of stone and brick. Pithoi, Roman and Byzantine coins, pottery sherds, terracotta and bronze lamps, mosaic floors and small finds recovered from the site indicate the centre of the ancient city. © Archaeopress and the individual authors 2023.
