Karasahin, M.2024-09-292024-09-2920131459-0255https://hdl.handle.net/20.500.14619/9863This research was conducted to determine the effects of organic and inorganic fertilizer treatments (F1, F2, and F3) on some growth parameters of hybrid corn cultivars (C1, C2, and C3) in the years 2011 and 2012 under the ecological conditions of Eskipazar, Karabuk. In both study years, fertilizer treatments were statistically significant on plant height, leaf area, and fresh plant weight. The highest values were obtained from F2 and F3 fertilizer treatments. Fertilizer treatments were statistically significant on fresh leaf and stem ratios in the first year but in the second research year no statistical differences were found. In both study years, the corn cultivars were statistically significant on the plant height, number of leaves, leaf area, fresh leaf, ear and stem ratios. While the cultivars were statistically significant on dry matter in the first research year, they were statistically significant on stem diameter and fresh plant weight in the second research year. In both study years the highest plant height, number of leaves and fresh stem ratio values were obtained from C2 cultivar. The largest leaf area and fresh leaf ratio values were obtained from C3 and C1 cultivars and the highest fresh ear ratio values were obtained from C3 cultivar. Fertilizer treatment x cultivar interactions were statistically significant on fresh plant weight in the first study year while they were significant on the number of leaves, and fresh leaf ratio in the second study year. In the first study year, the highest fresh plant weight values were obtained from F2 x C3, F2 x C2, F3 x C3, and F3 x C1 interactions. In the second study year, the highest number of leaves were obtained from F3 x C2 and F1 x C2 interactions. In the second study year, the highest fresh leaf ratio was obtained from F2 x C1 interaction. As a result of the study, the highest values of growth parameters were obtained from F2 and F3 fertilizer treatments in all three corn cultivars (C1, C2, and C3).
