The adsorption isotherms, kinetic models, and thermodynamic parameters of the adsorption were studied. The Langmuir isotherm showed a better fit than the Freundlich isotherm. The adsorption rate was described by pseudo-second-order kinetics. The negative values of ?G° and the positive values of ?H° indicate that the adsorption of MB was favored and endothermic.eninfo:eu-repo/semantics/closedAccessActivated carbonAdsorptionDyeIsothermKineticsAdsorption of methylene blue from aqueous solution on activated carbon produced from soybean oil cake by koh activationArticle2-s2.0-8486570654931873Q331757
