    Analyzing Attitudes of High School Students towards Turkish Literature Course by Various Factors

    This study aims to analyze attitudes of high school students towards Turkish literature course by various factors. 525 students from different highschools in Karabuk joined this survey in 2016-2017 education semester. In this study that uses scan model, Turkish Literature Course Attitude Scale used as a data collection tool which developed by Veyis (2015). Besides descripitive statistics, t test and one-way ANOVA used for analyzing data. It is observed that high school students have an average positive attitude towards Turkish Literature course. Also, students' attitude towards Turkish Literature course vary according to gender, grades and schools. Male students have more positive attitudes when compared to female students. In Karabuk sample, the comparison of high school students' attitude towards Turkish Literature Course shows that 9th grade students have less positive attitude when compared to 10th, 11th and 12th grades'. Between school types and students' attitude points towards Turkish Literature course have also meaningful difference. Science High Schools' students have high scores on Turkish Literature Course Attitude Scale.

    The interest to the historical novel which occured as a reflection of the Romantic School is going on increasingly all the more. The Novel Writing which focused on Sultans, their sons (princes), Viziers or on great wars mainly, should direct to the stories of the ordinary people, too. Tatar is a novel that it adds the tragic situations of palace couriers from the dusty shelfs into our daily lives, so it is an important sample. Gurbuz Azak, introduces the strength Courier organizaton of the Ottoman State in the frames of non mistaking state of discipline and evaluates it in continuation of the state under all kinds of circumstances, and showed the coincided lives of the people who believed in that idea.
